I just started reading a book called "Not In His Image" by John Lamb Lash where he describes a bit about ancient Greece in the first couple of chapters and I am feeling a connection. Maybe it's because I learned about them in junior school though? I don't know. I used to dress dolls up in Greek style costumes as a child and pretend the tree in my garden was a God and gateway to the Heavens where toys would go sometimes if I was pretending one was a god/ goddess. I have always been naturally philisophical and introspective, from the earliest possible age I can recall. When I start to read classical philisophical writings of others I get the feeling it is something I have already done, that I don't need to do again. I also have always felt a repulsion toward the Romans- not as individuals but the culture as a whole, and the atrocities they were responsible for, although I rather like their Mosaics.

Sounds like you've been Greek in multiple lifetimes I don't know if it's the fact that I'm already fluent in other languages, but Spanish comes too easily to me. Some words I know before my teacher gives them to me. And I love Spain and Spanish food and culture. IP: Logged |

Anytime I see movies where Hungary/transylvania/Romania is the main theme. And this is not just because I like Vampire movies. I remember writing a report on that general area in the fourth grade, just from looking at a picture. Also when seeing/reading/hearing about the Catacombs. I have a connection to Egypt as well, but not as strongly as the others. The Viking culture/ sea faring life and times has a strong draw for me. I'm certain (as certain as one can be, I suppose) that I've had a life or lives spent on ships. I love all things water/nautical. OH, and I will watch any movie set in New Orleans, even if it's not my genre of movie. I have a huge pull there too, although I've never been. My Maternal grandmother was Creole, so that may be why, not sure. IP: Logged |

Just listing out places that I've gotten through visions or have been told that I have past lives in that I also got excited about when I learned about.. feudal japan, ancient china, northern europe (norway and finland separately and I do -love- mountains and snow), and renaissance Italy. Some places just felt oddly familiar like hearing cornwall england or the history of texas during the mid 1800's, but I didn't get excited about them. Yes, I'm insanely good at spanish, but hate to learn german. I never liked germany, but given my life there it's totally understandable. As a kid I loved kayaks. Given my synastry with certain people, it's highly probable I have prominent Indian past lives, and I love Indian things.I really like the andromeda galaxy, but when I asked I was told I never incarnated there, but 'that's something else'. I'm in the midwest right now, but I think that's more because that's where my soulmates are. I've got one soulmate I think was one of my sons in texas and he's completely enamoured with the state. I don't like Italy but I have a soulmate that does and is enamoured with architecture. I've got an ex-boyfriend who was born there too. I don't like egypt except for the middle period, I know I have at least one life there, probably more. Mostly, I want to stop incarnating here so I have a lot of negative feelings towards being here. I've got an odd feeling about the pleiades. Most of my lives aren't here. IP: Logged | |
