Hi everybody♥
This forum is great,i'm so happy that i have discovered it.So many like-minded people here

Can anyone of you answer these two questions i have?? I would like to know what do you think??
The First:I'have been on some spiritual path since a little(i can say). These things have always interested me.The past two years that is even more intense.I'm very much aware about the ascension process,Dna activation,i'm meditating etc.etc(and fell very happy btw The thing i have noticed is that when i'm meditating or i'm in some deeper state of consciousness(especialy when i'm meditating and fell the energy moving trough my body),i can fell like in my chest is some injury and it's painful a little,it needs more energy and love than the others parts of my body(it's not my heart chakra-this is on the right side of my chest)and that place is very sensitive i don't know how to explane better...And i dont know why from the beggining i think that it's maybe some injury that i have from some previous life and now it's healing it self.i dont know, maybe i'm wrong but i have that feeling...If anyone of you is doing carmic astrology,it would be very helpfull if i have a clue maybe what was i in some previous life, maybe some warrior or something like that ) Or where i was living-I think Rome(i dont know why)

And second thing is:
I have read somewhere about "3-11" vibration -carmic relationships.
It was said that some signs form this kind of relationship. For ex.Leo woman and Gemini man form 3-11 vibration, and this is very strong one and it often has it origins from some past life.BTW i'm Leo woman and i'm in the begining of some sort of communication with one Gemini man and it really looks like we are even telepaticly connected.Have you heard about these things and what do you think??
And i can't stop wondering because of the intensity of the connection that maybe he is realy the partner that i must be with, due to some carma from the past??-it fells like we were together in some previous life?? Is that possible???

Much Love & Light to you ♥♥♥

Welcome

I dont know enough about meditation to give you any usable input, however users such as Lexx & others could point you in the right direction

I also know very little about 3-11 and the like. But I do understand the idea of past life relationships repeating/morphing & playing out in similar fashions in our current life/incarnation/whatever and how intense they can be

Its really quite normal, and anything but a rarity... gods, too many of my relationships in this life friends, lovers & otherwise involved folks are constantly tripping over past life binds...

How to tell the difference though huh? Often watch for language between people, mannerisms and archetypal behavior in amongst your relationships. For example I had a girlfriend who mothered me quite abit lol, I didn't object and ofc turned out she was my mom a few lives ago. However back then she died in child birth and I never knew her as a mother So, in her own way she tried to make up for not being there for me back then

Yes, most likely there is a past life connection between you and this Gemini man, but just be careful because its not always pleasant discovering such, usually there is much pain/trauma in the process...

Welcome!
OK...first off I do not personally buy into any of the new age DNA activation hype.
Sorry.
Smells like new age snake oil.

As to astrological indicators of past lives, ie; synastries being good or perfect;
well
my ex to be and myself have a rare near perfect synastry astrologically.
Several astrologers have said we are a perfect couple.
Nope.
Definitely not true.
As friends yes, pretty good but as the soulmates, love relationship indicated by the astrology....
nope.
So do not base all on astrology.
Additionally folks too often get caught up in one past life.
We have many many more than merely one.
Yes, your chest pain could be past life related.
I know I have many things that relate to past lives.
Remember too, this is your current identity and his current identity.
You must get to know each other as you each are now.
Past lives can influence so much that you feel the relationship now more than perhaps it should be this time.
My ex to be and myself made that big mistake.
Of course he may indeed be right for you now!
The sync you share, the kind of telepathy is a very good indicator.
As to Karmic reasons, no, I do not think so.
There would be a trepidation along with the draw if that makes sense. I had that with my ex1 and ex2. Lots of hard lessons were learned there and closure and I walked away from both of them.
Keep us updated please!

A few things about past lives' recall and so forth.

Regressions are at best bullshite in my opinion and at worse, triggering either false memories or any random memories of lives out of the the thousands to millions a person has had. This can lead to some serious psychosis.
The best way is to remember naturally. There is a high possibility you have already picked up on past lives but did not recognize them as such. I will sometimes get flashes or visions on a person's past life which may be relevant to a learning for the person now.
This is NOT for fun, nor to entertain.
And if real memories, they will shake you to your soul.
If not, then it will seem like movies or stories.
Believe me, if it does not shake you up, even good things, then most likely it is your imagination.
In many ways it produces a split personality like state of mind.
If you are not ready for the impact, and your current self identity not well established and sure, any one or more past life identity can indeed take over.
This is not a game or a thing to do for fun.
Also often what repulses us or phobias that make no sense in context with one's current incarnation, are indicators of past lives.
One memory began for me when I was 4 years old or so, a recurring dream. Then some 40 years later I met 3 people who had been having the same recurring dream from their point of view and then fairly complete recall of the rest of it happened with all of us supplying parts of the puzzle! Such details of ancient Denmark!
So when it is the right time, you will remember what you need to know to enhance or explain things of your current incarnation.

Yep, I agree with Lexx

Definitely not something to be messing with for fun, because some hard hitting emotional trauma both good & bad is in hot pursuit of such remembering or discoveries

Well it was some years later after we had parted, I was discussing a lifetime a friend had recalled who knew me as an orphan a few lives ago. I had no actual recall of the past-life at that time myself, but emotional recall yes and many pattern/puzzle pieces fit too easily.

Even then it was months later after that event and further discussion before I had a kind OMFG eureka mode! I was just sitting at my comp and it was like one of those Magic Eye Puzzles, where you know something is there but haven't quite seen it yet? Then Bam! I got a flash in my mind of all the little pieces of things, and feelings and words spoken between us associated with my ex girlfriend and saw them transplanted onto the mother I never knew..

Oh ofc, cant be 100% sure as Lexx was mentioning there, but often too many things and life patterns fit and it becomes very difficult to discount as bogus, even if you want it not to be true... Often its oh Frak!, Dont let that be true, and in such cases its a aversion indicator that something is up

Absolutely! Its often really bad idea to find out things when you really aint emotionally stable enough to deal with it, been there myself and it aint pretty lol -Face Palm-

More on past lives.
Copy cut pasting from one of my threads from years ago.

It is near to impossible to remember all of them. And there is no real need to.
And folks have a tendency to get stuck on one or a few. You are YOU now! Your NOW personal identity is WHO is running your "show" now. No one past life is all of who you are now. There are many many more.
Can they be proven?
Theoritically yes, but not emperically. There are many cases of past life recall that do indeed appear to be just that. Actually recalls of other lifetimes.

Even if you had been a famous or infamous person in the pasts....You are Not that person now!

Past lives can explain certain likes/dislikes and phobic conditions that have no rational basis for being a part of one's current incarnation.

And with

I get dreams, visions, and sometimes trance out, lightly or full immersion. This has been happening since I was no older than 4. We did not have television so that was not an influencing factor. I still do not have television. Other folks I have met have told me many stories that jive with mine when they knew me or I them. But from their point of view. They will mention often Exact names, dates, places and so forth that jive with my rememberings, before they know my side! WE in essence trigger each other. Some have been perfect strangers who come up to me and start off by saying stuff like.."do I know you?". Then it can get very weird. As a preteen and since then, often it can come through in odd poetry that just pops in. Those poems come though in trance. I do not know what was written until I "come back". I have no control over what I "get"...it just happens. Thinking about it will actually cause one to NOT remember or cause them to begin fantasizing instead. A true remembering is like a regular memory. You do not have to think or imagine, it just is. The more you TRY, the more it will usually elude you.
quote:
Quote
What advice would you give someone to start to sense some of their own? I've read your posts and what I picked up from those was that one should just start thinking about it and you will start remembering -- is that it?

Thinking about it. HHHmmm...not actually thinking about it. More like ask yourself, who was I before this lifetime? Then let it be. Go about your day or go to bed. Write or record any odd out of place things down that suddenly pop into your mind. No matter how odd or simple/trivial. A name a place a scene. A pet, you never had in this life, a face, a tree, anything, like a sudden picture of a glove laying on a stone or a hat on a rocking chair. If it is a remembering, more may come to you later. If it is time, something will pop in dreams and so forth. Often folks are remembering but do not recognize it as such. Aversions, attractions tell a lot. Especially when they have nothing to do with this lifetime. Same for irrational phobias or odd nightmares.
For example, a desert dweller who dreams of dying in an ice cave or blizzard. But he has never seen snow. Or a person terrified of saber toothed tigers even though they have long been extinct.
Are you repelled by certain cultures and things? Do others intrigue you very much? What repels or revolts or terrifies us is as important as that which we are drawn to.
Rememberings are like psychic ability. Folks often tell me they are not psychic at all or do not believe in it. Ahhh I tell them...have you thought of someone and suddenly they call out of the blue? Have you felt it might rain and it does? Have you sensed danger and gotten hurt? We all have the ability to remember and all are psychic, Many have simply been societally conditioned against the concepts and do not realize it. Watch children. Especially under age 4 or so. Listen to them. If Television is not over influencing them, often interesting things will come out of their mouths. One person very young upon hearing the word Beowulf, began telling the story in an oddly adult manner complete with rather adult mannerisms and archaic voice patterns and words. Another child was irrationally terrified of water. I asked her why she was afraid of water. She told me..."I like turtles but they drowned me". I asked, "the turtles drowned you?" She said, "yes I was dead then". I said, "how come you died"? She said..."Oh, I was trying to catch a little one and the mud slipped me and I was in the water and I was dead". I said, "what was your name?" SHE said..."Daniel". I said, Daniel is a boy name, were you a boy?". She replied, as she played in the sandbox idly, Deeply sighing and not looking at me she said, "I wasn't a girl that time", and then looked up at me defiantly and said, "OK now?". And then mumbling about being "busy" she went back to playing. She was about 5 then.

Speaking of irrational fears..... ever since I can remember, I would have this fear of someone smothering me with a pillow while I slept. Sometimes it would be much stronger than others and I never knew what triggered it but when it was really strong, I would have trouble getting to sleep and felt like I needed to be "on guard" and not sleep too deeply, so that I could fight or get away.

I can't ever remember a time I didn't fear this.......

Yes. It appears you "may have" past life issues concerning being smothered. Rule out other things such as psychological smothering in your lifetime now. Other factors such as undiagnosed mild sleep apnea or asthma or heart trouble, can cause these feelings. Rule all current physical and psychological factors out first.

But if nothing in this life explains it then note the following possibilities.

In past lives you may have experienced one or more of these things:
Actually smothered. Murder or accident, or even auto asphyxiation. Bag over the head suicide for example or drowning even. Carbon monoxide poisoning. Tuberculosis, emphysema, chest injury, buried alive, smoke inhalation, volcanic eruption as in Pompeii and covered in hot ash. Birth trauma, as dying while being born. Many more things.
So many things can lead to an unexplainable phobia of being smothered.

But rule out all possible causes in your life now before trying to understand them from a past life point of view.

quote:
if I have a dream of myself living in a different time, how do I know the difference if it's just a dream or a past life experience?

Generally if you are NOT seeing who you think you are or identify with, you are dreaming of your "experiencing" an event.

Just like in your present incarnation you do not see yourself unless you look in a mirror or a picture/movie of yourself, that is how it is in dreams. If you see yourself in a dream it is most like a fantasy of what you would like. Or an idea of yourself.
In memories of past lives we see others, not ourselves. The mind of modern folks conditioned to movies might extrapolate and create an image of themselves in the scene. But it will most likely look as they do now. Or what they would like to look like. So in essence the dream is tainted by unintentional extrapolation. Many folks do this after watching a movie, especially historical ones.
Unless you were remembering an OBE or NDE from the past, one usually does not see themselves in a past life dream. They see what and who is around them instead.
Watch the movie "Dead Again" starring Kenneth Branaugh and Emma Thompson. It is an excellent example of what I am talking about and how we can confuse who we see in such dreams and or visions with who we actually were.
Hope that made sense.

I can't see why it's important. We have all had many lives. If we remember just one or two it's like only reading part of a book. I know so many people who have confused their past lives with memories that are shared in the energetic field. Information is out there and you can recall it. The question is to be sure it's your own expression and not someone elses that you have an energetic rapport with. Just because you remember details does not always make it you.
It is your right to feel that the subject of past lives, the question I have posted is unimportant. I respectfully must disagree with that. Whatever brings us answers to help us discover the totality of ourselves is very important! Who each of us are who we are as a direct result of the sum of our experiences whether we remember them consciously or subconsciously. That includes memories stashed away from our present lives and all that came before. We often have intense likes, dislikes, even fears, which often manifest as seemingly unfounded phobias and or desires. I know from my own personal experience that uncovering/revealing the source of these things, whether it be childhood memories or past life recalls, can most definitely lead to understanding and healing of our our psyches/souls. I have witnessed far too many cases where the past life buried memories had resulted in terrible nightmares, often for many decades! I have worked with people of all ages, from 2 to 96 and the recall has helped them! In the case of children, parents have asked me: usually after they have given up trying to figure it out themselves, have went the medical and or mental health professional route, tried counselors, etc., and the child is still afraid or exhibits strange behavior despite these efforts. More often than not these things exhibited by the child have absolutely no relevance to anything in their lives now. Do you know what it is like for a parent when their child has such terrible nightmares(unrelated to television etc) that they wake up screaming night after night about things they could not possibly know about, either by being so young, or because it is something they have not been exposed to or experienced, or the theme of what they wake up screaming about is expressed in a voice complete with mature vocabulary about some person or event. OK to go on to the oldest I have helped. He was a 96 year old.
He had many unresolved issues, nightmares, and even good memories, that made no sense in context with his present incarnation, and wanted to "wrap it all up" so to speak before he died, again. He died two months later, in utter peace, knowing he had nothing to fear. I cannot agree with anyone when they say past lives are unimportant!
I am careful to ask people questions to help me determine the objective and or subjective aspects of their recall. That is why I ask:
Is your point of view from within the body of the person you perceive as yourself, or is it from outside as if watching a movie? I ask other questions too. It is vital to determine whether they are the person, involved/experiencing, or witnessing the event. These lines of inquiry also help to determine whether it may be pure fantasy. But even our fantasies can reveal much of who we are and perceive ourselves to be,or desire to have been. I have not studied about this from books, being that this is the way I have been all my life to date. This is not what I believe or hope is true: but what I KNOW!

I agree with you, but first you must identify it's really yours and then surely understand that you are the sum of all of all your past lives. Now since it's hard to know all of them, I think it's just pure speculation. We can only have one King Arthur you know. So far I have six books in my library by authors which claim to have been Queen Guinevere, all written with very exacting detail and all very convincing.
quote:
Ooops... I forgot to add that the question was not unimportant, not at all. I felt the speculation was. I hope you can see the the difference. I think the question (who were you?) is a fantastic one for discussion and very a very interesting subject.

Any opinion I express is my own. You were specific in your original question.

I think it's pointless 'for me' to speculate about all my past lives. I have enough to do in the here and now. I am the sum of my past lives in action. All of them.

I know for a fact that I drowned in one past life and it was something that made me carry the fear of water. Knowing that didn't help me though one bit. Overcoming it had nothing to do with the knowledge of that life time at all, but everything to do with the knowledge of this lifetime and the sum of who I was.

I do appreciate very much your input and feedback. Even when we don't agree, it serves to add another view to the subject at hand, and an opportunity to ponder it in another way. This is a good thing. OK...as to there being multiple famous people, so many deluding themselves into believing they had been Cleopatra, King Arthur, and so forth. That is exactly why I pose certain questions. For example, a person talking to me, about being The King of France in a past life: "I was the King! I could see the carriage and I was waving at my subjects from the open window!"
I then asked him, "Look down, what do you see?" He replied, " Eeewwww! I'm wearing some really filthy raggity thing and I'm standing in horse shite!!!!!" He looked at me then with a funny confused look, and asked me , "what does it mean?" I said, so ask yourself, were you the king as you saw, or the fellow in rags seeing the king?"
This is one example of many, how one can fool themselves into believing they were someone they were not. This is a very common motif, as it would have been one of the most exciting things to have happened to this person: he saw the King!
So next time you think you were the king, look down, and more often than not, you'll see that you are standing in heavens know what, but certainly not the kings shoes!
That is why I want people to tell their point of reference.
Another example of wishing, and not seeing the truth. I know a person who swore she was a Native American girl.
She was absolutely in love with anything Native American. She described many things, all the things she "wished" she could be in that culture. She said: "I remember wishing I was beautiful like my friend, and not laughed at by the other girls." I said: but why would you have such a strong urge to be an Amerindian, if you were one?! If you were really one of them, that thought would never even cross your mind back then. Look back, remember,... now look down,... what are your arms like?" She raised her arms and then turned to me, and said, "Oh my god, I was a white girl living with them! That explains my longing to be like them! I wasn't one of them, only living with them!!!"
It is so very important to make sure we have the right view, or feeling etc., or we can think we were someone we were not, and miss discovering who we actually were. There are several other ways to narrow it down, but these are two examples. Sometimes as you said, it doesn't always fix the problem. Maybe so, but it often can. Or perhaps there were more issues concerning water, buried farther back, deeper in the psyche that could help. A good example in some ways was what Robin Williams as an ex-psychiatrist said to Mr. Church in the movie Dead Again, about one of his patients.........
A dream need not be of an actual past life to have meaning and significance. I agree, a message is there, waiting to be understood. The character in "Dead Again" played by Robin Williams described it very well,..to paraphrase...
"what does it matter if it was/is true or not? She isn't afraid anymore".
That is a good example of memory, fear and the layers upon layers of many lives with similar traumas, coming to the surface as an amalgam of one memory.

Thank you for asking. I have no easy way to explain it to others. I was born this way. It is natural to me. The only trouble I have is answering everyone immediately, because I type very very badly, and very slow. I have many replies ready, but the typing and posting them is not easy for me to do. I will give to you, a more in depth answer as to how I come by the information, soon as I can! For now I will say, I simply open and the incoming information washes through me in surging waves that often affect me even physically. I very often do not have any recollection or very little. That is why I am ready with a tape recorder, or another person as control to take down on paper what comes through me
or I have to write it down myself. The longest time I wrote while open and in deep trance state, was 9 hours or so...and I did not remember doing it, or what I wrote until my husband came home, realized that there were several dozen hand written pages all over the place, and that I did not even seem to see him or hear him, but kept right on writing, even when he shook me! He had a bit of a time helping me back to this world that time! Fortunately some aspect of the information numbered the pages! I hope these answers are sufficient for the moment. Thank you ever so muchly for asking!

I'm so in awe of how many people know so much about their past lives in detail like that. I only have recollections - most of my memories of the past are quite, hectic and such.
The way you remember is actually more the usual/norm. Generally the more intense or "hectic" of these, the more exciting/traumatic the past life experience was, come in the clearest. These memories more often than not; come to us in quick snippets or flashes of insight, or feelings alone; attraction/repulsion/ to things, places, situations, etc., that often manifest in our present incarnation as phobias or yearnings.
That gnawing of the mind; the "it was on the tip of my tongue, but I forgot what it was" sensation. Even I have experience many of my personal rememberings this way. Sometimes there are no pictures, only intensity, or even simply vague emotion to something that cannot be substantiated by, or has any direct correlation to experiences one has had in their present incarnation.
Visual recalls are usually in the form of quick moving "movie-like" small "clips" of memory or "still picture vignettes", much like a faded photograph, or a picture where the focus is central, but the background is blurred or the focus fades around the edges/perimeter of the picture. Dreams can be clearer, but often come in more symbolic, or metaphoric, and need translated/interpreted afterwards...that is if we can remember the dream(s). Many recalls come to us in short quick forms...well...at first. For example, one of mine, that took 41 years for me to remember it all. Why? It was NOT TIME FOR ME TO KNOW! Some recalls require the "missing keys" to other "vaults", not of one's own, but stored within another's soul memories. When we finally meet the person/persons who shared past life connections with us, it often can trigger the rest of the memory; in them and in us. When the pieces are put together, voila! We often get the rest of the story, we may have been wondering about for even as long as decades. Deja vu is often one aspect of that.. Or Vuja de.."visions of futures past". When I was two years old I had many odd dreams. For years these dreams repeated themselves, in exactly the same way; the only exception was that with each successive redreaming, down through the many years; the way I perceived the dreams were viewed from an older and more life experienced point of reference. What a two year interprets/percieves, will not be exactly what someone many years later will. Age and our life experiences in our present incarnation adds depth.
In one such dream/flash...I was running in a golden leaved, hazy, cool, but pleasant, early Autumn, sunny beech wood forest. It was late afternoon, early evening, that gilded time of day where the sun casts long shadows, and the golden light moves onto amber, then deep russets, and onto ruby and fired embered sunsets. I was running up a long path, it sloped upwards along the side of a tor(man made hill/small
"mountain") which had a high, but partial, grey stone retaining wall on the path side. I felt such an urgency to reach the flat top of the tor, but would always lose the vision or wake up just as I heard the silence of the golden autumn broken by the sounds, first of birds and animals scurrying and flying away, then the urgent and excited voices of many men. I knew they were after me, but could not remember why. It wasn't until I met, in this incarnation, two people who had the same dream, for many years, but "from their perspectives!" This led to one of them introducing me to a third person who had even more pieces of the puzzle. The memories are nearly complete of those events, but I sense another person will be coming to supply another key, to open yet another vault on this matter. The intensity of these encounters, with these people, who triggered in me, and I in them, the missing pieces, was to say the least, most revealing!
What we remember and how, varies greatly from one to another, and recall can be sudden and complete, or take a long time. Also take into consideration the span of lifetimes down through the millennia, and that we have "forgotten" much more than we remember. There are many many more past lives for each of us than are being posted here.
Your recall is just fine.

OK I am going to stop copy cutting pasting from my old thread from years ago.
Perhaps I will start a new thread on this with all the information, as there is much more!
I hope this has helped you understand past lives' connections better!

More on past lives.

Past life regressions can be totally worthless and for entertainment purpose only; or they trigger things to come fore one is not ready to deal with. Worse, what if you suddenly find yourself seeing through the eyes of any one of your past life identities before electricity or cars? The culture shock alone could throw one into what seems to be a multiple personality state, or if while driving it suddenly comes forward, one could suddenly freak and forget how to drive, let alone know what a car is.
Yes, it can indeed be that intense!
This is not a thing to play idly with.
Even naturally occurring recall can trigger a potentially dangerous situation due to culture shock.
I know, because I have personally experienced such and had to be helped to safety and my current identity brought forward again.

If that had happened when I were alone,
well it is possible I could have froze to death.

Thanks LEXX for sharing this experience. I was asking my guide once whether i could go for this. He said NO. I was wondering why could that be. I even asked him but he didnt reply. This was a couple of years back. Now i understand why. I am as it is confused in this life sufficiently without going for past life regressions. LOL.
