mostly of the psychological/emotional kind.
If you are not solidly in tune with who you are and know thyself well,
you can become used and or drained by lonely or hungry entities.
Or deluded/deceived.
Please reconsider doing such, and just enjoy your Aunt's stories.
I mean,
exactly who/what do you think you will contact?
It is not a thing for a thrill, or idle entertainment.
Another analogy could be;
You want to find out what creatures live in the water.
You dangle your arm over side of your boat;
something touches your hand,
oh lovely!
It is a nice goldfish/koi!
The waters around you change from moment to moment, pond, river, lake, ocean......
Then you reach into the sand and pull up a starfish!
Then you reach in again,
Piranha!
Whew! Close call!
Then feeling bolder you reach down again
and your arm gets ripped off by a shark!
 So;
are you sure you want to venture out and test the waters you do not understand and cannot see what swims or lurks there?

Speaking of "Flow" or "going with the flow".
This is an example of being "fooled".
Fortunately it was a rather harmless one.
There was a period a few years back that my spouse and I wanted to have guidance on how to proceed or deal with the neighbors vandalizing our car, and their 24/7 partying in the other apartments.
Well we decided lets just go with the flow, ask flow.
Well one day I became suspicious and decided, OK.....what the heck is "flow".
Well of course there is the "Flow" of following your vibes, instincts, letting things move naturally.
However in this case we discovered that our questions were being answered by a sweet kind discarnate old lady haunting the apartment building next to us.
She was just trying to be helpful.
So when we asked for answers from "flow"
we got instead;

Well not so much good but vague and harmless.
That got me suspicious because it did not seem like vibes,
like I had been getting,
but more verbal like some misguided,
yet well intentioned person;
which it was!
We helped her move on so she could reincarnate, and learned all kinds of things about her and how she had become stuck in the house next door.

When looking "outside" yourself keep in mind these concepts:
