I'm sorry if it has been discussed before.. I went a few pages back to look.

Right now I'm in the middle of reading 'Star Signs' and I just finished up the chapter 'ghosts, gurus, and avatars'.

I'm a little confused on what an avatar is..
Are they human teachers or "spiritual" teachers?
I know she said one left her a note on her door saying 'serendipity' which lead me to believe human but when she says we have 2 and one enters being nice then leaves only to come back later and the other is a challenger.. it just all confused me.

What is an avatar?
And a guru is a human spiritual teacher.. right?

Okay, so if Im understanding right..

They ARE people living normal everyday lives but they are here to be "teachers"?

There is no such thing as a Jesus Christ.
THAT IS a made up thing created by religion and that fraking lying murdering hypocrite Paul of Tarsus to further his new schick and agendas after murdering and torturing Christians.
Christed means anointed and nothing more. Many were anointed. You or anyone can be anointed.
Yeshua was a teacher in the Buddhist/Confucian way, not the Jewish way nor the later Christian way.
So Guru or wise master would be a fitting label.
He was never deific, but human, and reincarnated just like anyone else.
The identity in each lifetime changes and is added to the memory pool just as our childhood memories are and identities.
Your child self is still within you but you are no longer the child but your adult identity now.
So he was but is no longer Yeshua nor any of his incarnations after that including female lifetimes.
So yes that soul is back in body but it is not living the identity of Yeshua, but its current identity, and is a human being as it was before.
