well that was my guess on what frequencies the planets would exude, but when you read the traits of orange it makes me think of uranus as well as the sun.

oohh that sounds like it would be an interesting combo. ive never had green in my aura before, but aura is usually pretty consistant its sorta craazy

but when it comes to my crown chakra or my head area i have yellows or purple/pink. always the 2 too. i keep taking them hoping my aura might change but it never does! haha. and ive even taken my photos on monthly periods or several months apart and they look EXACTLY the same, its crazy the stability of the photots...i think that our auras can change with our moods but theres also a consistancy too, we resonate with certain frequencies

Green isn't about venus though... Just means this, colours relate to your personality, not really about signs??:

aww just keep trying! i use to read auras all the time in high school as a past time.. i would always sit in the back of class and just stair at people and look to see how many different auras there were. what i do, is i look past the person and just focus or stair off, it almost feels like your going cross eyed but your not and things start to blurr. with practice youll get it! i still do it when im in class haha, especially to my teachers. i know some sites say to blurr the light.. but i actually find it harder to do when the lights are dimmed, its the best in a clear bright room with some distance, i feel a lot more comfortable when i can do it discretely too.. its hard when someone knows what your trying to do.

maybe you could find a near by psychic fair and have your picture taken!!

hm, well im going off of my pictures that ive taken not what someones told me, when i was saying the aura was consistant i ment mine haha i think i typoed. ive had a psychic tell me i was a yellow/violet.. pretty interesting. ive talked to other people that get it all the time too and it seems like it will be consistant and then theres a transition where the soul is moving on to another frequency and energy to embrace.

i wasnt being completely serious either on guessing the planets to the colors, i just correlate venus to green.

The Fire signs I have met (me included) have a better time feeling auras and the visualization part comes later with practice. I found a good way to practice was with flavors or smells.

Translating a flavor or smell into a color trains your brain to grasp half of the aura seeing process. I refer to it as feel-seeing.

What resulted for both me, my Leo friend, and my Pisces ex, was an ability not only to see colors in people's auras, but shapes and patterns too. Especially with that Aqu rising, I would guess it may be a matter of pushing rationality aside, and placing value in what your imagination perceives. The best advice I could give anyone for seeing auras is, "Don't expect to see anything, just accept what happens" The less you expect, the more complex your ability to see becomes.

There are a couple pretty basic practices you can do which can result in at least seeing energy automatically (perception of color often comes after you learn to feel-see energy).

1. Sit in a dim to dark room (so perhaps while you are laying in bed). Close your eyes and just observe what you see (often people describe this as television fuzz). Now open your eyes, and you will notice the fuzz doesn't go away. In fact, you should notice the fuzz collects around objects like your hand, or the trees outside your window.

2. In a dim to dark room, open your palms in front of you and face them toward your self. Bring your hands together so the tips of your fingers are touching. Take three relaxing breaths, if you did the first exercise you will see the fuzz around your hand and fingers. Pull your fingers about 2 inches away from each other so a space is formed between your hands. Now move your hands up and down slowly in opposite directions. You may notice strings of fuzz connecting tips of your previously touching fingers, and as you move your hands, the strings stretch to compensate for the movement.

The Leos I know who understand energy and auras have a fantastic capacity for understanding. I hope you can find a way that works for you, it makes for hours of entertainment.

There is a great book called "Hands of Light" which gets into some of the deeper aspects of seeing patterns in auras. and how to start seeing them. Oh also, what you see is based on what you feel and imagine. There are some generalities with colors, but be willing to accept what you feel and see as your own energetic language, not everyone sees the same colors as meaning the same things. Red to one person may seem like passionate love, where another person may see anger and abuse. The feeling is an important guide.

I have a singleton Neptune that aspects both my luminaries, my venus, and the Uranian Poseidon, conjunct my moon. I don't have an issue with excessive rationality.

I've tried the types of exercises you're mentioning, plenty of times over the years, they just never work for me. Like, ever.

I think that seeing auras is just one of those things I'll never be able to do, but there's other things I can do that not many others can so it's a fair trade-off.

i saw a paid on before from my friend. she was apparently white but it was a personality test of some sort. iv taken a short test which is similar. i'm green in that one. taurus sun and venus, venus dominant..

They were all "I SEE THE SOCIAL COLOUR, I DO! Not yellow enough to be nervous and high strung, but not red to be aggressive and enflamed!!!". They had whimsical lights and a smoke machine and everything!

There's quizzes too and I've taken a few but I don't trust them really.

thats how i felt with my red/orange aura, i was hoping for more "cool" tone colors but instead i got the fire colors. theyv grown on me though and i relate a lot more now that i understand them. haha thats cute you made an effect on the hottie

niice, one of the very first photos i took i was a very very deep purple/blue. sorta intense color. but i believe in you! i think you could do it if you kept trying hehe

If purple is watery.. this wouldn't be surprising because most everything in my chart is either in aspect to Neptune or in Pisces.
