well.... I know she is she, and I support her in whatever she will do... funy thing, tho. She was born with so, so many "defects" even before she knew about other possibilities! IP: Logged |

She just turned 21She was born with Tetrology of Falot, a severe heart defect. The anomolous structure of her heart, while developing inutero lead to: basically 2 left lungs, that is a lung on each side, but both bi lobe instead of the r lung being tri lobed. her stomach is on the wrong side of her abdominal cavity. she has "poly splenia" many little tiny spleens instead of one. her inferior vena cava, the major vein that brings blood back from the body to the heart takes a twisty, turny trip in her thoracic cavity before reaching it's destination, the heart. She has always identified with aliens and really thinks she just may not be from here, but I do remember giving birth to her, for sure! IP: Logged |

That's a really interesting way to consider the origins of different kinds of people. I'm open to the possibility. Especially when I consider shocking, inexplicable phenomena like people who never age (saw a YouTube video on a 28 year-old who looks and acts like a young toddler) or people with multiple faces or limbs.... I suppose there could be direct "alien" intervention on a vibration level or maybe a warp in space-time causing people from other times/places to arrive on earth. At any rate, I think we are wise to pay attention to these different sorts of people as they can expand our understanding of existence... Best wishes to your daughter, hippichick.

I agree, Faith...I have often wondered about such things like, Downs, MD, severe psychological disorders, etc. Sure there are genetic components to all things, a strand of DNA gone bad, something in family history, etc... But I still wonder. And my daughter being so intouch with the possibility of aliens is so intriguing! And thanks for the well wishes! t~ IP: Logged |
