I think as a young child to preteen I actually had all chakras open and active. I saw spirits as a young child, according to my mother. My dreams were so vivid and most of them were deja vu, until I hit 11 or 12 and hit puberty. I don't think that was what caused me to lose my dreams, though. Not entirely. I don't dream hardly at all now, and if I do they are so REAL and usually nightmares, with dark shapes that never really expose themselves doing a number of things from chasing me to hurting those I love in an indirect way. They can never actually INFLICT harm, but I feel their malice and it scares me when I see them in my sleep. I wonder if the lack of dreams and strength of the evil in my nightmares is from an imbalance in my energies with under-active root/crown shakras when the rest are open. I had a few slightly traumatic things happen to me physically, emotionally, and spiritually all at the age I stopped having my deja vu and started having nightmares and I wonder if my Root and Crown became underactive as a way to shield myself from the hurt going on in my life since I didn't have the knowledge of how to protect myself then. Is that possible? I feel like I'm a big ball of influential energy for the world, but I have no anchor and no direction, and I yearn for it. Are there meditations I can do to ease the nightmares until I can work my Root/Crown back to open? Thanks ------------------ Leo ASC, Pis Sun, Tau moon IP: Logged |

Hi, This is a good one to start balancing and opening the root chakra http://youtu.be/pId6RKcQH3k There is also a series with crystal bowls. Yoga, eating well (healthy) and taking good care of your body would help to start grounding yourself. If there were a lot of traumatic events, please take it easy on yourself and note how the meditation makes you feel. If it makes you nervous, stop. I would also work only on 1 until the 5th chakra for the first weeks (months even). I definitely would not work on the crown or the third eye chakra if you are not feeling balanced, because it can make the feeling worse. I'm personally a great fan of yoga because it really balances body & mind. Then if you feel more firm and secure, you could start looking more into healing the emotions and upper chakras. Just a suggestion of course. Hope it helps. Bye IP: Logged |

thank you for that link!! the moment it started I felt tingles from my root to my crown. I've begun meditating every night 20-30 minutes and have included one or more of those videos during my meditations. thank you again! IP: Logged |
