is it a clear white laser wand? If so don't even point it at you unless you are proficient with crystals.Enjoy! IP: Logged |

They are laser wands and they can either do a lot of good Kat or they can blow out your chakras - literally depends on the person's knowledge and experience. I'm guessing Dee is very experienced with crystals to have been given one, if irs a true lemurian LW IP: Logged |

OK i have to clarify i have had crystals before. But i don't consider that experience. i used to clear them with sea salt and carry then in a pouch. but i never experienced any kind of sensation with them. They didn't seem to affect me in any way at all IP: Logged |

I was gifted a round dark blue Goldstone a couple of months ago.The story goes that they are formed by monks while chanting. here's a small blurb. stories differ on the web...they are pretty anyway. quote: Name Origin: Goldstone is a type of glittering glass made in a low-oxygen reducing atmosphere. Another common name for the material is aventurine glass, based on the original Italian name “avventurina” (from avventura, "adventure" or "chance"). It is also sometimes called "stellaria" or "sun sitara" (sitara = "star" in Sanskrit) for its starry internal reflections, or "monk's gold" or "monkstone" from folkloric associations with an unnamed monastic orde.Historical significance/folklore: There are a few lore stories about the origins of goldstone. The first is that sometime during the early 1800's, an Italian monk was making glass at his monastery. He accidentally spilled some copper filings into his molten glass and, voila, goldstone was born. The recipe for making goldstone was kept secret by the monks, but was handed down through time. The second story also takes place in Italy. This story goes that a long time ago, molten copper was accidentally spilled into molten glass at a glass factory in Murano and accidently created goldstone. The third story, is that goldstone was created by alchemists. One of the many problems that alchemists tried to solve was how to turn iron into gold. Goldstone is thought to be the result of one of these attempts. The original manufacturing process for goldstone was invented in seventeenth-century Venice by the Miotti family, which was granted an exclusive license by the Doge. Persistent folklore describes goldstone as an accidental discovery by an unnamed Italian monastic order or medieval alchemists, but there is no pre-Miotti documentation to confirm this. Gemstone properties: Red goldstone is associated with vitality and energy. Blue Goldstone is associated with learning and communication. Goldstone is said to be the stone of ambition. It builds energy, courage and a positive attitude. Increases drive and confidence. Healing properties: Goldstone also has many of the metaphysical properties of copper, including strengthening the circulatory system, strengthening bones, and easing arthritis pain, which is felt to be extremely helpful in increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation.
quote: Goldstone is a man made gemstone that has been around since the European Rennaissance.Early monks working at a glass factory near Venice, Italy were practicing alchemy when molten copper accidentally tipped into a molten glass container. This crystallized into thousands of tiny crystals and formed a melt with golden light sparkles. This is how the first goldstone came about. Though it is not technically a gemstone, it is often referred to as one. Goldstone is an energy stone.
I can ask for some info on Lemurian crystals next time I see the person I know who is very knowledgable on crystals in general. IP: Logged |

I have a crysal known as a "record keeper" described here: http://www.crystalvaults.com/pages/atlantian_lemurian_crystals.php which I bought some time ago. I did not even know it was one until yesterday! I tried meditating with it but haven't been able to access anything yet. I think it may also have a "key" in it, which I assume is a sort of dip in the crystal, near the base. Maybe I'll start a thread when I have more time on crystals and post some pictures up of my collection. I have two baby lemurian crystals, a larger chunkier one which is clear and a smaller pinkish one with a nice shape. I pick up a very strong peaceful, healing energy from the pink one. I am not sure about the clear one, but I sense that they may be very old, perhaps that is what gives them their look (still trying to research it more- why they have those lines). Or maybe it is their unique mineral composition. I'm not sure what the clear one is for yet (maybe it is a communicator?). Maybe their special energy is even from the Earth herself, and this is why they were placed in certain places. IP: Logged |
