Hi,

Not sure if this is the right forum for this... What do you do when someone asks you question during a tarot reading you just don't answer?
I read my cards intuitively and specifically from the story line in the cards. Psychology and being willing to take your own responsibility fits my style of reading. I make it clear I don't do medical or pregnancy readings (I think that belongs with the doctor). I always have a list with doctors, therapists, etc. available.
Having said all that: what do you do if someone comes to you convinced they are under a spell? I declined to read it and tried to point out what the querant could do herself. I'm not shutting any possibilities out, but a) it's not my area of expertise and b) I know it can happen and be done, but quite often it's something else.
I still wanted to give the client some advice and pointed out to a)doctor's advice (part of problem was medical) and b) told client to find someone who works with it if she was convinced. I tried to make clear that I thought it was wise to look at both sides: practical/medical + alternative.
To make a long story short: what is the best approach? This client and I were no match, but what do you say if someone asks you about spells/curses, etc? And who (or what style?) would you recommend to the client?

Love to hear. Thanks!
