I had him lie on the floor and I began to run my hands around his back, gently pressing and focusing in on where he said there was greater pain.
I hit one spot and he cried out.
I could feel a definite knot there, so I (imagined that I?) focused energy up my body, down my arm, and through my hand while rhythmically massaging the area.
After a minute or two, my lower arm felt like it was on fire and was quite warm to the touch.
His back was hot where I'd focused.

He asked me to stop because he said that while he could feel it working, it was also a bit painful.
His back issue's not gone, but he can move his head and neck again.

My arm was a bit numbed and warm and then oddly cool for awhile, but is mostly back to normal.

Any idea what happened?
Was it just a massage or something else?

yes' for them it can get very hot/painful..
and we need to stop..

if it was on Fire?
