I believe in them. I always have. My nana's house was haunted, I've had dreams about people who have died... blah blah blah. Ghosts.

However, I'm a little leery of being all, "Hey, let's chat! Are you there? Let's hang out and talk cards or evp or anything."

I'm sensitive in some ways, and I'm extremely interested in the paranormal... but I also don't know if I wanna open that door. Has anybody? What were your experiences?

Hey Becca!

This isn't a lame question, it is actually really smart. It's always nice to be open to what others have experienced.

We were just talking about this in another thread, I'll link it for you. There are a couple posts by me about my experiences with entities, if you want to read them.

I could talk to you more about it but I can tell you now that my general answer would be to use a lot of caution when inviting anything into your life. Whether they be paranormal or mundane.

Oh yes, I certainly have the fascination with mystery and investigation of paranormal realms. It's just such a Piscean/Scorpion sphere that holding onto your wits is difficult.

I think that if you have a strong urge to investigate, start with strong research. Go through absolutely everything that you can and source actual experience.

Personally, I would never do anything with the ouija board, it's just too random in contact. You might feel differently about it though.

Are you in a situation now where you have a feeling there's an energy in your house or a family member/friend's house?

Yeah, Ouija is not my jam. That much I know. I posted in the other thread, but I use tarot cards a lot. I'm in a situation where I'm starting to have experiences and dreams that come true, and I'm starting to hear voices underneath the static in my radios, car and computer. I was 100% I was going bat **** crazy insane for the first month of it... but now... no, I really am hearing something. I am just kinda curious what it is or what's being said, and I do feel often like things are around me, both in and out of my house. But I also want to be careful. I mean, it's my house, and I'll be damned if some creepy wicked gross thing is gonna hang out and try to scare me... But also... I don't want to invite something, ya know?

skip the new age and fluffy wiccan magic stuff...
and look for necromancy a la modern day, as in, modern adaptations for working with the dead...
there are plenty of traditions that work with the dead
do you have connection with any of your ancestors? you can always start from there
in many asian and african religions, the ancestors are honored.
you just need to distinguish from the real deal versus the fluffy stuff...
there's just a lot of garbage online and in new age bookshops (heavily commercialized)

I've had the oportunity to deal closely with the african ones, particularly Santeria/IFA. Sadly, most of the people that join it nowadays, do it with bad intentions in mind.

hey there!

I personally strongly believe in spirits or ghosts. I also have experience with the paranormal myself. Also a few of my friends have experienced paranormal situations to various degrees. In the study of buddhism, it is said that spirits and humans coexist. I believe in that very much

It depends on who you are trying to reach,

Took my late husband, who opted out 11 years ago to finally get enough energy to come through.

I can "conjure" him most times. I play Supertramp "Fools Overature" one of our favirot songs as teenagers, and we just sit and hang out.

At first he came dressed as he did when he was 17, all scared and boyish, then all of a sudden he was sitting in his etheral chair beside me in an all white suit with a vibrant blue tie.

He tends to come in that suit, so one day I said, can you atleast put some blue jeans on? Which he did, grew out his hair a little longer....

I dont call on him often, cause I know it takes alot of energy.

My grandma, gone for nearly 3 years now, has not come around. She went peacefully so I expect her to come around sooner, but have to try to figure out a way to call her.

He late husband, a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, so it took longer.

My youngest 21, is a gifted channeler, and I have started to gain this skill.
