Hi everyone!
I just moved into my dorm room a few days ago (It’s not a shared room) and need some advice about feng shui.
A major problem I’ve run into is furniture being aligned with doors. The West wall has three of them. Right now my bed is facing my closet door because the only other way I can turn it would be facing North which is an unlucky direction for me according to my Gua number (6). I know I will have the closet door closed a majority of the time, but is there any tips to correct this feng shui faux pax?
Also, the East wall is where the head of my bed is is where the Love & Relationship section of my room is. I was thinking about hanging a hanging a mirror (It's like three inches wide with a big, red circular frame). I know mirrors are a no-no in bedrooms normally, but I was planning to hang it high enough that it wouldn't reflect any part of my bed.
Also my desk and dresser and between the entrance door and window. The dresser is between the door and desk, so will it block some of the door's energy? I don't want the door to mess with my work space's energy!
The link underneath goes to my blog where I put up picture of how my room is laid out.
Thank You!

Cool! You sure know a lot about feng shui. Some of it is kind of over my head. But I dabble in it sometimes.

I like to use gems a lot. I have some rose quarts and clear quarts set up in my room.

Are you into chinese astrology?
Cause sometimes I will get feng shui advice on my Chinese horoscope.

I'm year of the horse, and I got advice online to have an elephant on the S. east part of my room. I forgot what for, probably money stuff.

I hope you get the answers you are looking for.

That's interesting about beds not facing doors never heard that one.

Not sure if this can help. But you can 'shatter' the energy when it comes in by using a chime. With a mirror you'll directly send it out again.

I would just downplay the things you cannot change by playing up other things.
For example if you want love and romance buy yourself a pink bedspread, use some red heart shaped pillows, etc etc.
Also for doors, you can cover them. Hang a something over them to where you still can get in the closet but it has a decorative cover over it which kind of grounds it.
