Topic: The meaning of feathers

I was told a long time ago that finding feathers on the ground was a sign that angels are near you. Ok...so at work last night I saw a total of 3 feathers. The thing is I work in a big warehouse full of machines and lots of birds like to fly around it and sometimes in it. I've been there almost 3 months and have never seen a feather there. Should I take this as a sign or dismiss it as coincidence? I'm a bit skeptical bc where there's birds there's feathers obviously. But I have been praying lately due to working 40 hrs a week and having all 3 of my children in extracurricular activities and I think I've done lost my marbles lol Any insight? Hi,Can you tell me the colour of the feathers and/or the size and the bird you suspect they came from?

Thank you for responding. Honestly I have no clue what size these birds are as I work nights and I don't really pay attention to them flying around. I saw 2 white feather and 2 grey one. Its possible that these feathers have been on the ground before and I just haven't noticed. As far as my career goes, I had been searching for employment for quite some time and I'm now working as a temp in a factory. About a month ago I switched to night shift and I admit its been tough adjusting to the hours and the people on this shift have had lots of attitude bc I came from day shift and apprarently they don't like them lol I've had some issues with some of them and was moved to a different area due to some differences but slowly its getting better and I'm learning different tasks now. I've been there almost 3 months now. I don't plan on quitting for awhile. Or getting fired lol This is what I had been praying about - for God to give me strength to deal with all the drama and not get myself fired (lol) and I ask my angels almost every night to make sure I get to work ok since I drive 45 min to work. May I ask why you're asking? How did you know that?? Lol IP: Logged |

Ok the feathers were small in size. Maybe about 2 inches long. Don't know if that helps. I found 2 inside and one outside. It was weird I just happened to look down. Usually I don't do that so I don't run into any of the machinery in the building. IP: Logged |

Hi Can't tell you if these feathers were a sign from God (altough I do have a friend who says she had this experience with feathers & Angels). They are commonly applied to 'messengers from heaven' though. I would read them as a sign. Especially because you noticed them, so they are significant for you.
If you could determine the bird that would help. But seeing feathers a lot is often a sign that it's time for a change and/or change is coming (fresh wind through your life), seeing new perspectives & because they can fly above it can also give you a more free feeling/rising above problems. Reading your story, this may just be a great reminder of that Your mind is always free, even if the circumstances are dragging you down.
If I look at the colours: white = purity & grey = possibly relating to difficulties/sadness you are currently experiencing. Combine them & they show you how to put some 'air' with that/uplift/pass by the experienced problems.
The feathers are small so this could mean it's just a small, beginning of thinking about a change in life or working with how to 'free yourself' from the current situation.
If you meditate, you can try to do that with the feathers & see what your specific message is. Just some thoughts. Hope they may be helpful IP: Logged |

Wow Twirl that was pretty insightful actually. Being a virgo I'm really skeptical and I so badly wanted to take it as a sign but I was too iffy given the birds there. Thank you for your insight. I feel a little better actually. I think I feel the change coming. Its not quite time yet tho. I'm not liking all the negativity at my job. I'm too chipper for it lol but I'm not done learning here right now. I appreciate your advice tho. It gives me some things to consider.  IP: Logged |

I have 3 personal planets in Virgo  & I do belief feathers come from birds , but that doesn't mean there is no message applied to them or that they weren't 'send' to you, to deliver this message
