Topic: How do you know if you're ready to open your third eye?

Hi guys,I need help. I've only been reading up about auras and energy balls for two days and I am very interested in it. I want to see auras and I want to be able to connect with the universe. In short, I want to open my third eye. But I am very cautious about it. How do I know if I'm ready to open it? I know being fearless is an indication that you're ready. But what other things indicate that you are ready to open it? Can someone guide me please? Can someone tell me the consequences of opening it? ------------------

Welcome  Its really good that your are interested in these things, but don't rush it  If you want to start seeing auras, this could help : http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/002560.html You are already connected to the universe so you can mark that box as ticked  Ask yourself, what is it that you really want from such an experience? Often you will find that what you want can easily be attained without the need of some mystical-esque adventure.

I have been reading a few things about seeing aura as well, specially after Lei_Kuei's thread lol.  I can see the 3D puzzle image, thought I still don't know how to be able to see aura. I try to do the same as when looking at 3D puzzles when looking at my hand for example, but it's hard to avoid the usual light issues that we have when we focus too long on something (it forms in our eyes a kind of negative copy of the form of the object we stare at).I want to see auras for further self confirmation of the existence of the metaphysical, and it would be cool to be able to see other people's energies. Does this mean I don't have to open my third eye to see auras? I also want to know if it is possible to get a hint of what other people are thinking. Anyway, thank you very much. I will read the thread and see what I can find

I would say it requires a certain level intuition to convince your mind that there is indeed a hidden image in the magic-eye pattern... Whether or not you wish to attribute that to 3rd Eye mechanics is up to you  In relation to sampling other peoples thoughts, well its possible! Thanks I checked your thread about the eye puzzle thing.. and just a question.. was I supposed to see faces of a guy with glasses and another guy with a beard in a repeating pattern?
