For awhile now in the evenings the cats have been acting up, suddenly leaping in the air and racing across the house, running upstairs and making a lot of noise as if they were kids bouncing on the beds and jumping off, and going into the front parlor and making some pitiful noises...

I had no clue who the "spirit" was but could have been a friend from my youth who died on his motorcycle back then.

What did I do? i tried to ignore the situation because again I had no desire to see the hidden face so I went to sleep as fast as I could while playing a movie...

If your cats seemed frightened that doesn't seem that great... So I hope it is a friendly spirit but maybe they are trying to tell you something.

I also believe that cats can see auras and spirit guides.. My cats always seem to be looking at the air around and above me more than they look directly at me, they look at me and in my eyes but then I often see them shift their gaze to something on the side or above me and seem more fascinated with that, I always wonder what they are seeing. My one cat protects me in my sleep, she sleeps on the bed all night, every night.

So I think pay attention to your cats! They know what is up. If they are spooked maybe burn some sage/incense? Salt at the front door?

The cats were both on my lap very comfortable.

The previous evenings and earlier that evening their actions were just so crazy.
Running through the hallway through the living room chasing something floating above them, running up and down the stairway, insisting I let them into the basement, and other things I described on the post above.

I burn camphor, sage, palo sticks, & cedar at different times of the day. I also bless my area with tobacco.

Had a paranormal team in and they had very little action.

My nephew's death date was Dec 21. He usually makes some type of appearance. This year half the house's electric went out and I had to go to basement to flip fuse switches.

Since we cleansed the house I have not been afraid but that day I really did not want any contact esp in basement made of limestone.

Recently I made facebook contact with the family of my male best friend who tragically died on his motorcycle.

The spirit was too small to be my nephew but the right size for my departed friend.

The male figure I had seen previously standing with his back to me was facing this neighbors house during the time it was standing there.
