If so, what are your experiences? Do you ever get spirits just staring at you? It would be cool to have some people to talk to who have gone through some of the same things I have. Sometimes I feel crazy because I'll have random thoughts and voices going through my head, do any of you have that happen? IP: Logged |

Sometimes (very rarely) a voice. Mostly I see faces of people that I don't know. Usually when I am close to falling asleep. However, I can easily pick up on the energy of people that have passed that choose to linger in a particular dwelling. Also, every once in a while I can pick up on family that has passed. My mom has come to me a few times in my dreams to guide me. IP: Logged |

I "see" . For instance, I was in one of those day old bread stores. There were a number of people in there. The woman behind the register had an adult male spirit close around her. I was pretty sure I was the only one seeing him. Seeing him I knew I was being asked to let her know about him but I was in a store with other people and I was not wanting to talk about it. I did though. I told her and described him.
It was her recently deceased husband. He had
Told her before he died that he would stay by her side and for her not to worry. She cried and was thankful for the info.
Another time I gave a woman a ride. This was noone I cared to be too close to because she
Never stopped gossiping in a bad way.
During the ride I looked over at her and there was a creatures head and neck protruding from HER neck and looking at me. I had to maintain control of driving and the situation...the woman did not seem aware of the presence. I referred to it for reference as a demon of gossip. An ugly bloke to be sure. IP: Logged |

Tuxedo, I definitely believe that bad entities can attach to people - the question is how to get rid of them? While I cannot see that kind of stuff (thank goodness because I'd probably pee myself. Literally.) I know a few people that have very dark/heavy energy. They are basically good people but but their behavior can be ultra crappy. IP: Logged |

Thank you for all the responses so far. I've had several not-so-nice ghosts come into my house, or at least I think they were ghosts, and they are the reason I now have protections up that keep things like them out if my house. I've done things like Tuxedo has, but it was more in the capacity that somebody asked me to talk to their dead relative. It always feels so good to help people. IP: Logged |

I think people with dark, heavy energy have to want to let it go. Some are not even aware they have it. You can let them know but some people might be insulted by you saying that. Some people like their infestation and some think an infestation gives them power. Some willingly house negatives and some invite them in.People who "party" and go overboard with drinks and drugs can pick up entities easily.
I "see" this in bars. Some spirits that passed but used to "party" do not want the party (whatever it is) to stop so they attach to someone who is still living the life.
They get to still do what they were doing before through the living person.

I wonder if in those instances when one feels low, or out of sorts, it could it be possible that a bad energy has attached itself to you. I'm referring to those times when all seems to be going well, but it's difficult to shake off a dark mood. I am sure many people have experienced this. It could be attributed to difficult transits, unresolved subconscious issues and what not. Could attachments also be one of the reasons? If so, how can one tell? IP: Logged |

Totally agree... I think it's like that with anything - drinking, sex, binge eating...anything that has the potential to be self destructive. The worst part is that people in this situation tend to stew in their own mess. I know two men (un related) who are, at the core, good people but they both have extremely sadistic tendencies and tend to bring karma on themselves. Even though everyone around them can see that their behavior needs to change so they can grow and prosper in a positive way - they are in complete denial and feel their bad behavior is justified (blaming everyone but themselves). It's very hard to be around. One of the men, the lesser of the evils, leaves me feeling extremely anxious (his energy is fast and changeable). The other man leaves me feeling nauseas. His energy is especially gross.

Not sure how you can tell but I have gone through fazes (depression) and wondered whether something attached itself or tried to. Maybe trusting your instinct? Definitely something to study. I do know how to shake funky stuff off though 
I think being aware and positive helps keep things at bay. Prayer to whatever god you believe in helps. A lot. Remembering that we, in the human form, are stronger than it and remembering that everything, including us, is energy based. Last, I find the power of laughter to be the best tool an empath or medium can use to help stay grounded.

Agreed. Even negative emotions can make you vulnerable to attracting negative entities. This is why protection and cleansing is vital.
