I'd just like to share with you the happiness I am currently experiencing right now. I feel very contented and at peace with myself lately, it all feels so unreal. My life is far from perfect. My family is still broken, I don't have as much friends as I used to anymore, and I am not doing as much "fun" things as I used to, yet I feel very happy deep inside. The hole in my heart that I've tried to cover up for the last couple of years has suddenly disappeared. This is something very profound to me because I just went through a year of major transformation where many of the things that I valued were taken away from me. I always thought it would take me a really long time to recover, but as you guys can tell, that is not the case. I guess part of it is because I have finally decided to let go of things that no longer serve my greater benefit. I have come to a point in my life where I feel happy and loved without the company of too many people and without always looking for attention (I used to do that sadly).

I hope this sends a message to all of you who are going through rough times right now. Have faith in the universe that things will turn out okay in the end and that you will heal from the wounds that have scarred you in the past. Learn to love yourself before other people and learn to be contented with what you have. Stop looking for more and just thank God (or whoever your god is in your religion) for the things that have come your way whether they're good or not. In the end, things will always turn out for your greater benefit.

I love how you explain that your life is less than perfect yet you are grateful for all you gave and endured.
