So sorry to hear of your sage`s demise. It has such a hardy soul (as you noted) I wouldn`t be surprised at all if it was it giving up the ghost

I would personally feel a bit wary about that, and it would be my inclination to hire a professional medium to make sure it wasn't a spirit who needed help, or had ill intent.

Mediums don't grow on trees, however. And that's only my perspective, for what it's worth.

Sending lots of prayers for white light and healing to your family, your home, and any spirits who are there.

I have a friend whose family property is inhabited by family ghosts, and he just sort of deals with it.

Occasionally, he will let them know that he's had enough of whatever it is they're doing, if it's bothersome enough. Apparently they will back off at that point, lol.

But that's his family, not everyone's...

Well, I suppose you know your own family members, so that's a good thing.

Prayers for white light still going out, sounds like an active place (or maybe lots of sensitive people in one house?).

If you can deal with it without issue, I suppose it can't be too bad...?

The screaming girl --- Wow Faith. A bit eerie. .... Rolodex file in mind: There are certain animals that make a shriek like a lost screaming girl. Around here, we had a lot of wild peacocks running around. Police would get called when people didn't know what that was. ... So, maybe it could be a species of animal or bird that you have in your surrounds? Maybe some of the nature places or scouts or animal shelters might be able to give you info on what is native there.

Speaking of native? Wow, with the Indian guy. Yes, there were a lot of Indians living around where you are. Also, some civil wars, too? .... Lots and Lots and Lots of history there around that locale/region.

Door knobs --- Could be house shifting? ... We think we live on a solid, but I swear, sometimes the ground underneath my feet feel like I'm standing on almost a waterbed (but firmer). Shiftings in the earth, seismic waves going on.

How old is your daughter, Faith?
I'd get that door securely fixed, to save her imagination.

There are spritz bottles with incense-oil fragrances. Look into it for her to use during the night... Have it Blessed by a clergy (if you think she would feel it could make it more 'legit'). Use some around her bed.

Also, cool to install a small night light in the closet? It might comfort whatever ghost, AND your daughter... so when she opens her eyes, she knows she's safe.

Make sure you have had good food before going to bed. No empty stomachs (blood sugar drops). Can 'ground' her (and you) before night. You need to feel and cultivate that sense of safety. (If there ARE ghosts there, and you are satisfied and feel pleasant, your anxiety will be down, and when they are ignored (you've told them to leave), they will calm down? ... Just thinking, wondering.)

I had been in a restaurant in the general region around Gettysburg. Had no idea it was known to be haunted (until I saw this place featured on a ghost show). I definitely felt something there.

I was in another building once where I conversed with a ghost who looked as absolutely real as a regular person. Later on when I commented to two people about him, how he left in such a gruff and hurried huff, I was told that the place was haunted, and that he was a ghost.

In Wheaton, Illinois, I had a strange appearance of a little-old sweet lady with a bun in her hair, that I think was actually an angel. I had gotten up from my table to go get some cream by their coffee pots, when suddenly I noticed her. She had a knitting bag by her feet, and a bible laying on the counter. She saw me and exclaimed, Oh! You're on a Mission, from God! ... Then she clouded and said, You're hiding your light under a bushel. By the time I got back to my table, I suddenly came back to myself, and went to ask her what she meant by that--- but she was gone. *poofed*

Then while I was riding the BART between Walnut Creek to Orinda, when I lived in California decades ago, for the only time in my whole life, I think I saw an actual devil get on board, then leave. He was in a very human looking form. But his eyes were like vacuums, cold sucking black holes. Talk about the feeling of shudder? I kept my gaze off him and only looked in glimpses.
