I loved this guy's take on why he believes in dragons:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZNlCRsa324

Some of the footage (in the fourth minute) he showed was really interesting. Maybe it was just shapes in the clouds and all that, but a lot of paranormal manifestations tend to be enigmatic that seem "both there and not there" (very much like reality at the subatomic level) and maybe those were astral forms so powerful that it wasn't hard to see them in the right conditions!

I'm in the middle of this one right now:

Wow, loved those videos of the “Dragons” captured on film…!

I figure all of those vid’s were taken in Asian by Asians, which I feel falls into the concept related to the Holographic/Thought response nature of reality and how our unconscious minds will “draw” whatever we want… even in the clouds if enough people believe :D (similar/identical to what you said about how particles behave when they are "looked at")

Personally I cant wait until enough people believe in Cthulhu... LOL!

Another aspect that caught my attention was what he said about how when Monks/Taoist’s achieve enlightenment they are imagined as ascending into the heavens while riding a dragon… IIRC, you once posted a dream where you were making a very similar journey while riding a Dragon with a friend of yours…!?

^^Pretty cool, although Im glad you stayed on good old planet earth… The last thing you want is to find yourself in the realm of the Gods surrounded by a bunch of lazy Monks who are scared to death of creating “karma”… lol…

(I think I posted my thoughts on that subject before… so Ill keep my mouth shut hehe)

However, a Dragon/Godly realm of existence may be an entirely different matter… and perhaps much more fun :D

Nice point!

Maybe in Mexico someone would've seen the Virgin Mary instead.

I'd actually forgotten about my dream on the dragon and I never thought I would (though I remember it all now). Dragons like that would not be boring.

For some reason, I'm not sure how I came to think this way (probably my occult training that drew on Hermeticism), but I've come to see dragons as the Ouroboros, and even as individuals they're just reflections of that, complete within themselves (if they were mortal critters that needed to eat, however, they'd be fiercely territorial!). Interesting how the dragons, leviathans, and great serpents were usually evil in the West but wise and sometimes even relatively benevolent in the east.

For me dragons are spiritual entities, whose energy takes that shape when they manifestate.
Believing in them as actual solid beings would be a bit outhere for me

Perhaps, they are interdimensional beings not of this realm.

If there are fairies, there could be dragons.

I once knew someone who said she was the dragon in a human body. This was just "matter of fact" for her, it wasn't something she needed us to believe, and it came up because she seemed so preternaturally strong and tough (emotionally as well as physically), as in it was amazing. And there was an intense energy around her as well that just about everyone could feel.

The oddest bit was when she walked on the sidewalk, if people could they'd instinctively walk around her, it was like they were "walking around her wings."

Maybe she was raised on stories of dragons and somehow channeled them shamanically (unconsciously) which gave her these characteristics (as well as idea) though I had a friend who was a fan of dragons and he never did that (perhaps adding to it, maybe she was once made to feel utterly powerless--she was a runaway on the streets like us after all--and she in her desperation she found a wellspring of what she needed within with paranormal elements). I'd later read of others who also thought they were dragons incarnate and they sounded a lot like her.

Or...maybe she was exactly what she said she was. Just maybe there were "cloud dragons" that could be seen when she was born (especially if say her mother was overseas as a military wife where dragons like these are believed in) and one took on human form for whatever reason (or accident). And maybe had someone been using a security cam around the mother as she was pregnant with her and/or giving birth then maybe it could've caught an image very much like this:
