Hi all
I'm not sure if this is the spot to post this question, but I figured I'd give it a go. I was told by a clairvoyant that the person I was asking her about was "in my energy field". I didn't get a chance to ask her to elaborate on what she meant by that. Anyone with more knowledge of this stuff able to explain what she might have meant? I have no idea if she was referring to my aura, chakras, or what have you. I am obviously not as versed as I could be in the metaphysical at this point, lol.

She made it seem as though it was a positive thing. I was asking if something romantic and lasting might develop between me and this person. We haven't talked for a month so I was feeling unsure. She told me she could see him still in my energy field and then began the reading.

Before I read further on, I had a feeling it was a Male.. And, I felt that I could kind of 'feel' what she may have been talking about.

To put it in really simple terms, I would think that this kind of just means that his energetic self has influenced your energetic body. Meaning, a certain part of him is kind of with you, even when he is not with you physically. It's kind of one of those things that isn't extremely easy to explain with words..

Hmmm, I've been thinking about what you said. I think I might possibly understand what you're talking about. When I met him I could feel something in my energy change - I don't know how to describe it. We have a lot of Neptune contacts in our synastry/composite which is interesting bc when we met, I could feel barriers dissolving (cliche, I know, but not sure how else to describe it, lol) and I felt a sort of "merged" feeling - to the point that even when he isn't around I still feel him (like you mentioned). It's...yea...hard to explain, lol.

Do you have experience with this kind of "energy sharing"? Is this a normal thing?

Have you had sex with him? A man's energy will stay with a woman when they have been intimate. I can sense it, but I don't actually see the auric field. Some people can see auras, and can see the presence of someone else's energy in your aura. It sounds like that is what she was referring to.

That makes sense to me BlueJay. I can definitely see how sex might alter two people's energy. We haven't had sex though. We've kissed before, but haven't gone any further than that. He lives on the other side of the country right now, so we hardly see each other in person unfortunately - otherwise I imagine something might have happened by now bc there is definitely chemistry/attraction there.

So you can sense his energy in my aura? Maybe that was what she saw. Can people normally be in someone else's aura? Like, could I be carrying other people's energy in there in addition to his, lol?

I can pick up on a person's energy, and know when they have been intimate with another person. I don't actually see it, I just feel it. Some people that can see auras can see another person's energy in a person's aura. I've never experienced that, but I've heard of it. With me it's not visual, it's more like a 6th sense, where I feel the energy.

When two people are intimate there is an energy exchange that takes place. Since women are the receptive/yin energy, the energy imprint stays with them longer, sometimes forever. That's why people should be a lot more discriminating when it comes to sex, because you will carry that person's energy with you, good or bad. I guess it is possible that the psychic was picking up on his energetic imprint on you, even though you've only kissed.

That's really interesting. A little bummed to hear I could still possibly be carrying around my ex's energy with me He's not a bad guy or anything - just a part of my life I'd rather leave in the past and not carry as a part of me for any extended length of time. Oh well.

I understand what you're saying about the 6th sense. In your experience, have you sensed something similar with two people that are very psychologically and emotionally intimate with each other? I get that the physical exchange is likely much more...idk, noticeable and lasting. I'm just wondering if the imprinted energy the psychic saw could be because of an emotional vulnerability or exchange in the absence of a physical one.

There are things that you can do to cleanse your aura of this energetic imprint. To some degree it will always be there. You can meditate and visualize releasing the person's energy. If there are any past hurts, it's important to forgive the person, or you can't release the energy. There is only one person that I regret sleeping with, back when I was 18. I did not love him, and it was the one time I did the friends with benefits thing. It didn't end well, and he told a lot of lies about me. For that reason I've never been able to forgive him, and can't truly let go, although I want to forget he even exists. I cannot stand that I even give him enough significance to feel any emotion towards him, he's not worthy. Hopefully I can eventually clear his bad energy.

I'm an empath, so I can pick up on people's emotions, and feel when another person stirs up emotions in them. This is especially true when people have not slept together, but there is sexual tension or romantic feelings, even if it's one sided. The psychic probably picked up on this when you asked about him, and could feel that he impacts you in an emotional way.

I'm sorry to hear that your friend treated you so terribly That guy definitely sounds like he is not worthy of even a fraction of a thought from you, but I know it can be hard to let go when someone has wronged you so. Sometimes time is the only thing that helps and I know one day you will eventually be able to move on from his bad energy completely. It took me a while to let go of a lot of negativity and anger at my ex. Our relationship was fine on the whole, but things ended badly between us. We've since made peace with everything and all is fine now, but I still would like to cleanse myself of his energy completely. I will try out your suggestions Thank you!
