I know a psychic who is well attuned to animals. He said that as a small boy he'd even communicate with them (imitating their sounds as he did so), and while even he is prone to dismissing a lot of that as an overactive imagination, there was one time he asked a neighbor's cat where someone was, and he got a clear picture, but found that very unlikely. He tried again and the cat actually pointed with his head and then walked off annoyed. So he checked it out and the person he asked about was really there!
