Totally relate to this. That was probably your mom reaching out. I don't have a lot of dreams about my mom but when I do they are usually messages and I pay close attention. I had one dream about an outlet blowing in my home and my mom let me know to check the breaker. The next day, an outlet was having issues and it was related to the breaker. Crazy stuff.

The one strange thing I experienced was when a guy in a really bad place put a "piece of his soul" in me shortly before he died. Don't really feel like explaining that one again. But I had dreams that were obviously from his mind, including of the Vietnam War, which lasted until I was in my early 20s when I felt he had reached some sort of peace and took back what was inside of me so that it was not a burden I had to bear anymore (during a Samhain ritual in which I sent him more of what he wanted, an answer).

For me, if I remember a dream then I take it seriously. If my parents or friends that have passed are in it, I pay attention. I've had dreams that have happened the next day - down to what the person was wearing. I've also had dreams that are bizarre (multi-colored funkadelic looking snake along with all kinds of other crazy animals hanging out in my front yard - lol) that I know isn't practical but because it sticks it I pay attention.

On a different note (since you mentioned Samhain) - I'll be at a Yule Sabbat ritual today led by Ann Moura - I am psyched!

Later, when I had bought the phone, I asked my mom for her phone number so I could add her number. I already have it written down, but I wanted to know if the number from my dream was the same as her current phone number. The two numbers matched.

Granted, this dream was probably more of an unconscious memory. Since I have seen my mother's phone number written down often enough, I have had plenty of time to memorize it. I didn't know I memorized it until after the dream.

The dream's timing is what makes the dream stand out. That and the fact I recalled something like my mom's cell phone number in a dream and woke up remembering it. I struggle to remember phone numbers.

i did it for linda goodman as well, i tried to draw in energy. but nothing.

now more recently i find as i look at pictures of dead people- there is no response from the picture. i dont get any energy feeling of their personality.
this is before i find out they are passed.

1. The youngest Uncle looked very happy and was in a very expensive looking business suit, he had never worn that in his entire life. I interpreted it to mean that he has attained a very high level in the Higher Realms.

2. The oldest uncle showed me that he was in a place of worship. He was looking fit and very much at peace when I Astral Traveled to this place.

3. The third uncle was closer to me, and his visit was most vivid, like a real life experience. I still cannot believe that this was a dream visit and not a real visit.
He gave me excellent advice on planning a new career, and made some observations on likely events. There was a grim faced Guard/Sentinel near him, and my uncle pointed to the sentinel guarding a gate like structure and said that he can do this only for a few minutes before moving on to his Higher realm.
All his observations came true and have been most helpful.

I was not home at the time.

But here it goes. There was this white, serene place (I still remember peaceful it was, and I never felt that much peace in my life ever before or after that). There was this huge white staircase and a woman started coming down. She was my cousin's grandmother (the one we don't share by blood relations). She was wonderful woman when she was alive. So much love and goodness inside her. And she always had this signature look, black hair in a bun and a red lipstick. She wore a white dress in a dream. She just looked at me when she came down, smiled and said: Don't be afraid *my name here*, I'm okay.

Now, from time to time I have those odd dreams and I know those are messages. And since everything was serene, my guess is she is in heaven. Maybe I had a glimpse of heaven.

On a side note, my dad told me one night he woke up and he saw his late grandmother and she was tucking in my sleeping mother. Also, that woman died a month after my birth and my dad found her one day looking at a crib, almost crying and he said to her: what are you doing? Her answer was something along: Soon I will be gone and I want her to remember me.
