I trusted my mom at that time, and told her everything I experienced. My uncle (her brother) is schizophrenic so she immediately thought I was. I was brought to psychiatrists and therapists, and got diagnosed with a mood disorder not specified. I was put on so many different pills that really messed with me, and I no longer remembered my dreams. After years of that and the abuse, I can no longer access my psychic nor mediumship abilities as strongly. I'm still very intuitive, and occasional will have predictive dreams, but it's not the same.

That being said, and how to rekindle any lost Psychic Abilities...? I'd consider the likes of Immersing oneself in subjects of Fantasy where Magic is apart of those Worlds, be that Reading Books, Playing Games (Video and/or Table Top), watching Movies with a more Mystical Focus etc, and plenty of reading up on/exploring Alternative Media that delves into such Topics. The basic idea being that when you Saturate yourself in seeing Magic as a Norm... then it's the type of Reality and way of thinking that will follow you into your Dreams and even take root in your Subconscious... and possibly re-wire/kindle various Neural Pathways of your Brain that will make you more likely to Encounter situations of Real World Synchronicites (Matrix Glitches etc).

And to augment your own Personal Saturation in Magical type Worlds, you should find some folks who have similar Interests where you can discuss such Topics, further building Brain Networks and adding more value to the side of seeing Magic/Psychic Abilities as something truly apart of your own Life and that you want to Experience again.

At the very least such Immersion will very likely Spread into your Dreams, and if you can reach a Level of Dream Control that is near Lucid... then Fantasy World Level Magic can even become a possibility...

If I could recommend one Book that might be helpful to you I'd have to go with Micheal Talbot's, The Holographic Universe.

My mom put me on an antipsychotic, and an antidepressant from when I was 12 up to when I was 18. I didn’t need them, and it really effected me. The antipsychotic was the worst. However, my sister passed away unexpectedly in late August 2017, around March (her birthday month) I was extremely depressed to the point of suicidal (I wanted to be with my sister). Then I tried an SSRI along with my regular vitamins, exercise, journaling, mindfulness, and eating right. I feel like myself again for the first time since before my sister passed. It took about 6 weeks to take effect, but I could tell an instant difference. I really believe it is helping save my live along with my lifestyle choices. I know for some they can be truly damaging, but if suicidal thoughts/depression is a result of a serotonin imbalance it can be helpful.
