I was eleven. I was in summer camp with my cousins. We were all in the pool, and because I could barely swim at that time, I was supposed to stay in the shallow end of the pool. My cousins were not in the pool but we're sitting at the edge. Another swimmer accidentally pushed me towards the deep end. I lost my footing on the bottom of the pool. I was too far way from the edge of the pool to grip it. I slipped over the bottom ledge separating the shallow end from the deep end. For a while, I was drowning. It seemed to last longer than it probably did - maybe a few minutes, but much longer to me. All I could breath in was water. I was panicking, throwing my arms up as high as I could. But I was still sinking. Then my vision blurred to the point where I only saw fuzzy darkness. I stopped panicking. I felt warm and happy and at peace. I was giving up. Then a lifeguard was pulling me out of the water by my shoulders and smacking me hard on the back. This felt so harsh in comparison to the warm, peaceful darkness I had just been in. I've often wondered if it has anything to do with why I seem to attract ghosts and other spirits. My first college dorm was haunted, but it didn't seem to act up unless I was there. Now I live in a very old haunted house that has to be cleared with sage at least once a week to keep the activity at a minimum. My workplace is also haunted. My previous workplace had similar issues. It doesn't creep me out. I don't think about it very much, even when things happen that cannot otherwise be explained. I just acknowledge whatever is there and move on. There's a few things in my chart that seem to point to this. I have a 12th house stellium (Uranus, Neptune & Saturn in Capricorn). I have an 8th house Sun & Mercury. My MC is in Scorpio, and Pluto is conjunct my MC (on the 9th house side). Does anybody else have a near death experience they want to share? Anything interesting happen afterwards? What in your chart points to it? IP: Logged |

I know someone who had a NDE who had plenty of strange experiences with spirits and visions as he grew up. I don't have the patience to describe it, so I'll just sum up his NDE.He was still a toddler (he remembers this all clearly, but almost nothing else of that time of his life) and he was playing "plug" (sticking things into electrical sockets) which went about as well as you'd expect. He doesn't remember screaming (as he did), just suddenly being in the hall instead of his room and seeing his mother rush forward, and then through him before going into his room. She then came out gibbering and pulling her hair to the breaker box where she switched off the power (his mother confirms this) before going back to perform CPR on his body. He didn't see his body nor sense his mother doing CPR on him. Instead, as the power went off he instinctively looked to a fluorescent clock that glowed in the dark which normally scared him (probably perceiving it instinctively as animal eyes in the dark), but realized he was not afraid. And that's all he remembers. In ancient times, plenty of shamans around the world were set on that path by a near death experience. In some cases, it was induced.
You can find many NDE experiences here: http://iands.org/ I loved this one, and it reminded me of a very strange paranormal experience of mine (which is a long story I've shared elsewhere on LL and won't again) with the music everywhere: http://iands.org/research/nde-re search/nde-archives31/newest-accounts/1289-love-was-what-everything-was-made-of-came-from-and-returned-to.html I have to admit that with all the star seeds and what have you on LL, I'm surprised this got no responses. I'm surprised also. The traffic stays at the top half of the list. It might be time to shuffle them up.IP: Logged |
