The Twelve Days of Chri5stmas, also called CHRISTMASTIDE (Christmas time) and sometimes referred to as TWELVETIDE, is another name for the festive Christmas season celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. It starts on December 26, and ends on January 6th known as Twelfth Night or Epiphany Eve.
{It depends on how the first day of Christmas is counted. If day one is counted as Christmas Day, December 25, then Twelfth Night is celebrated on the evening of January 5, the eve of the Epiphany}The celebration continues with gift-giving and feasting around the world, anxiously awaiting Kings Day on January 6th.
Kings Cake
This is a popular cake that celebrates the Holiday of Epiphany January 6th - Kings Day. As part of the tradition, a bean is hidden in the cake. The person who finds the bean in his or her slice becomes king or queen for the day. The person can also choose someone to be their king or queen and can lead the traditional dance.
