sorry for the crude subject heading.

my poor callie...something's up. i've taken her to the vet numerous times and though she has a high PH in her urine and has had infections in the past, she keeps on peeing on my boyfriend's blanket. and she loves my boyfriend.

i don't know what to do but take her back to the vet. they're going to take blood tests..

any ideas or similar experiences?

Dear LMB,

I think Peeing is being discussed on a thread here called "Animal Issues". You might get some answers there.

You know, I had a friend who never had pets her whole life and when she got married her husband had a cat. They moved to a new house and the cat started peeing everywhere. She was so mad at the cat and the cat wouldn't go near her. I know for a fact that she disliked the cat very much. She didn't even have to admit that to me, it was so obvious. The cat was peeing more and more in wrong places. I really believe that the cat intentionally peed in wrong places because she knew my friend didn't like her (as well as moving into the new house). My friend told her husband "it's either HER or ME!!!" The poor cat ended up moving to her husband's office and that was her new home.

My puppy kept peeing in our other dog's bed last summer. When I went to puppy class the teacher said she was "marking her territory" like she was saying "that's not your bed, it's mine".

Another thing they said in puppy class was that unless you use a cleaner that has enzyme in it, the pee smell will stay, and that marks a "restroom" sign so the dog or cat thinks that's the restroom and will keep going there.

Just thought I'd share some ideas

You really need to speak to the vet about this since she does have urine problems. It may not be a behavioural issue
