Mine are. My cat's are so neurotic right now. My new mother cat has been acting increasingly wierd over the last couple of days but today two of them are being insane and my other spoiled cat is being aloof.

not really, haven't really noticed anything out of the ordinary............

...........except.......today my puppy tore up the large rug in the garage. I attribute that to separation anxiety, 1. her breed has that, and 2. today was my long day at work

But hey the moon could have contributed to her motivation today

My Walter just had his first big episode (I hate the "S" word) this morning, since July of last year (that I know of). I sat down here to make a note of it (rather than relying on a notebook, I've got a few floating around with both major and minor episodes noted), and stayed here to calm myself down. He sticks to me like glue after it happens, so he's right here beside me. All of the dogs have been barking more over the last few days, and I barely slept all night ~ I rolled over onto my back trying to go back off again and heard this noise from my floor, he was rolling around all over the place. At least I know the other dogs won't attack him, Bertie started to clean him up as I held him gently in one place until it finished. Normally he's right beside me and I know how long it lasts, I hope it was quick this time too. We're very lucky that he tends to come out of them quickly though, back to normal within minutes, except for the extra clingyness.

The full moon has been blamed for setting off a lot of dogs, but he has also had canned commercial food the last couple of days, since I've been really tired. My Dad also gave them marrow bones to chew on, I'm wondering if it was too rich for his system.

I never even made that connection before, but I have heard that when the moon is full, people "get luney". I'll have to pay attention to my dog the next time the moon is full.
