I found this yesterday... http://dailycoyote.blogspot.com/

About Charlie

Charlie is a wild-born coyote who was unexpectedly delivered to my doorstep this past April after both his parents were shot for killing sheep. Whatever reservations I had about raising a wild animal simply didn't matter - couldn't matter - when I realized his survival, at least in the short term, depended on me.

At the time I write this, Charlie is nearly six months old. I don't think of him as "my pet," even though he sleeps curled against me every night (every night except the nights around a full moon), and happily rides in my truck, and adores my cat. I don't wish to own him, just to live together in harmony. And that we do.

Thank you

While this story takes place in wyoming it seems it's author is originally from my home town area! [Santa Cruz, California] lot's of little references throughout her blog.

There are like 50 flippin' pictures in there!!! OHhhhhhhhhhh... SO adorable!!!!

This is a must see!

Cute, Cute, Cute!

I especially like the obvious friendship that this little critter has aquired with the kitty

Awesome. Simply awesome. This is why we need to save the earth from global warming ~ it is HIS earth too!

This is my dream ~ to live away from society like this, in the wild, and befriending wildlife.

Oh thank you so much for sharing this. This has been the best read of my day!

Why on earth do they have coyote killing contests? Is there no law protecting these poor animals against this cruelty? What's wrong with these people?

Just had to go take a peek again *sigh

My, my, how he's grown over the last several months...

He's larger than I expected in such a period of time...

Seems he's just survived through Parvo
and is doing well now...

I'd forgotten all about this, until I was in the bookstore tonight, and saw her book. I've ordered it in from the library, but I started it whilst sitting there in the coffee shop area.
