The Mountain Hare is featured in the winter edition of the Mammal Society's magazine. It's a preservation society for native mammals (in Britain), working to make sure animals such as this these don't decline in numbers.

They live mainly in the Scottish Highlands which probably explains it. Their summer coat is brown with a greyish-blue underlayer. I'm drawn to hares somehow, I don't know why.
