I need advice, if anyone is willing to give it, on how to handle my cat who is upset about our move. I have two adult cats where one is friendly, aloof, and up for anything, while the other is very attention seeking, loves to cuddle, and very sensitive to changes in the environment. Since the move (which was last night), the sensitive has been livid! He runs away from me and hides under anything he can find. Does anyone have advice? I am just afraid he will turn into a miserable mean cat...

.. a cat toy ..
sort of like a bit of security ..
it's there despite everything that's going on

most cats adjust sooner or later .. some just take a bit longer ..

Unfortunately, in my experience there is nothing you can do.

Cats are cats.

You can nurture him more, give him more attention, etc.

But all in all, cats are cats..

They will do what they will do.

I have had to give up cats in my lifetime due to their issues...cats being cats.

I used to think that I brought them into my life, and I need to provide for them, however, when they start be-ing untolerable, ie: ******* everywhere, then I had to re-orientate myself to who is who.

I am down to 3 cats now, all indoors. 2 had to go, last year, due to a move, as you are experiencing and bringing a ferel cat into the mix, they went "caty" wonkas and began to destroy my household...they had to go.

Kind of go with the behavior your cat is displaying, try to satiate him, but all in all cats are cats...

and me LOVES em!!!

Thanks for your feedback... He has gotten better and acknowledges me again. Luckily, I didn't traumatize him.

Cats don't have issues that's just the way they are

Glad he feels better.

Dogs just forget and wag their tails.
