Phoebe, our 14 (almost 15) year old furbaby kitteh passed away this morning. I found her when I went to check on the cats this morning. She wasn't doing so well the past couple of days because of her old age. We made her as comfortable as possible but I knew it was time for her to cross the bridge.

Our hearts hurt as we buried her with a beautiful yellow rose (she loved to eat babies breath and leaves) and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. I know that her best buddy Fletcher (almost 19 years old) is missing her and Mac (the 3 year old) is missing annoying her- as is Rocky the ding dong dog.

Phoebe was well traveled as she lived with me in Oregon, Californa, Maryland, Arizona and that is where she met Bear. She totally bonded with him and he became her favorite human in the world. We then moved to Idaho, Germany and back to AZ where her travels ended. Bear said "She was so well traveled that she has been to more places than most people".

We will miss you dear Phoebe and we will see you when we cross the bridge. Please tell Sidney (her best friend that passed 13 years ago) we said hello.

That pic was taken in Germany as she cuddled up next to the wood burning stove.

Awww

Sorry to hear that.... so sad.

“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”

Thank you all for your well wishes and kind thoughts. We miss Phoebe terribly but know she is in a better place. The other furbabies have settled down and aren't as mopey. Fletcher, her best buddy is still a bit sad. He sits in the kitchen window looking outside (towards where she is buried). I sometimes wonder what is going on in his sweet head.
