Yesterday, My friend called me and told me she couldn't find "Merlin" her 6yrs old white and tabby patched cat.

We searched the entire neighborhood, eventually we figured he must have been either taken or hit by car.

We decided to try the animal shelter just in case he was brought in, no luck.

I told her I will start making posters and we both called it a day.

At midnight she called me and said she found him.

Turns out Merlin never left the house at all,
Merlin somehow crept into her basement, got trapped inside a closet and slept.

I'm still scratching my head over all of this. At one point I really thought we would never see him again.

Even though he isn't my cat he has grown on me he greets me at the door when ever I stop by and he meows back when ever I talk to him.

Her cats are brought outside, but only if there on a cat leach or someones watching.

Somehow we figured he must have ran when our backs were turned.
