For the fifth year in a row, the ASPCA has been selected as one of five charities to participate in the Subaru “Share the Love” holiday sales event, which kicks off November 21.
Since 2008, the ASPCA has received over $5.6 million from “Share the Love” and has been the number one choice of consumers every year, reflecting the commitment that Subaru and Subaru owners have to helping animals. For every new vehicle sold or leased between November 21, 2012 and January 2, 2013, Subaru will donate $250 to the consumer’s choice among five charity partners. Based on past successes, the ASPCA anticipates it could earn over $1 million* from this exciting campaign, 100% of which will be targeted for distribution as grants to organizations in all 50 states. This allows us to allocate much needed funds to help local shelters continue their life-saving work and assist animals in need, including those impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
We need your help to spread the word! Simply tell everyone you know who is considering buying a new vehicle about this sales event. The more vehicles sold and selections made for the ASPCA, the more money donated to support life-saving programs that help animals.
*There is a minimum guaranteed total donation of $250,000.
As part of our participation in the Subaru “Share the Love” campaign, the ASPCA has been matching Subaru dealers with local animal welfare agencies around the country to host events at dealerships including pet adoptions, collection drives, pet pictures with Santa and other fun activities.
Here’s a tool to help you find the event closest to you. Events are typically held on Saturdays from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., but check with the local Subaru dealer listed below for exact times and event details. Be sure to check back regularly as events are added every day.
