Sperm Whales Adopt a Deformed Dolphin. A pod of sperm whales has taken in a deformed bottlenose dolphin. This unique relationship raises many questions. What motivations might the sperm whales have for adding such and unusual member to the pod?

I think their intentions were good, mabe they saw the dolphin as a baby or in need of company and nurturing
