Pocono Mountain Regional Police said a dead dog, apparently a pit bull with a red collar, was found Tuesday in a trash bag dumped in Coolbaugh Township.

Someone spotted the trash bag in a stream near Seneca Way and Susquehanna Drive in Pocono Farms. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 570-895-2400.
