Can you help me in the pros and cons for both?

Was thinking to get one or the other in a pair for the children, been looking at hutches and chicken wire so I can make them a yard to play in and a warm cosy bed for sleeping.

It's time for the children to have their pets to care for, encourages spiritual maturity and responsibility.

I have had rabbits before but never guinea pigs.

I will be doing more research, we also will be adopting (or rescuing)from whoever we can find in the local paper.

Well, guinea pigs are very affectionate and love attention. I think they are a better fit for children.

They had ginuea pigs at their daycare, apparently Conan took a great liking to them and fed them bamboo leaves all the time. My sister grows bamboo too.
I think my choice is leaning toward ginuea pigs too.

I had pet rabbits as a child and it was so fun, they are quite feisty little creatures and the male ones even more so, the cutest thing they did was lick my hand lol.
