I'm so scared to have a pet. I don't handle loss very well.

I see all of the lost pet stories shared on LL, and it breaks my heart.

Me too.

That's really why I never wanted these cats, cause I did the math once.

Guess I better do my job here and move this to Heathcliff's doggie dome.

MoonMystic ... {{{awwww}}}. I'm sooo sorry your kitty died.

Losing a family pet can hurt very deeply. It's a real loss, that can be felt for a long time afterwards. Anniversaries can be hard.

I had a soulmate old grey kitty in college... such a close bonding between the two of us.

Then there were two dogs (for my kids) we briefly owned. One of them decided to challenge a dumptruck on a snowy and icy steep hill on Christmas week. Even though that was 25 years ago, I still remember.
Wrenches the soul!

Their little essences will be There for us.

This is a song about humans, but I think it could cross over to pets too.

You'll always be a part of me...

Thank you, Magikaal. It turned out to be end stage renal disease. I had a concern and was looking after a lot in the past few months. Ithink that I went into denial that she was slipping away. She was the best natured and most courageous little lady. I called her 'My lil Lady'. She loved that.

I am healing. The heart is easily hurt with these loses and recovery does take time.
I can say that our air here never was a problem. They checked it and it's clear. I will one day be a mommy again but after I learn all the safest foods and other requirements for their well being. Sadly I spent top $ on my lst twos food but it turned out that food wasn't safe -these days aren't so simple when being fur parents.

I don't handle it well at all either. I have lost many (in my past it was due to outdoor type loss, not indoor style of loss) but I have also put all my heart into them and certainly feel they know it. The bonds between me and them was strong, yet like us furless ones, tangible reality is limited. I feel them surrounding me from the unseen side. I know one day we'll be reunited.

After thinking and praying to both my fur daughter + son, I've decided to not let this be my last time. There are countless fur babes that need love and TLC. If I have any true purpose, it is to love. even if loss hurts me, it is who I am.

Thank you, Mirage29. I looked at mine and her synastry. We were soulmates. It was clear. All the nodes, Moon, names and karma really aligned. That's why I still feel her within my heart like she mingled her spirit to mine.
In the last 24 hours I had my baby with me, I kept hearing in my head the name of my last female cat from the 90s. I believe in reincarnation and the lady I watch on you tube speaks of how it takes yrs for them to return. So now I believe either she was the same soul from the 90s. That cat passed several yrs before I met my darling last baby girl. Or they were uniting in spirit on the ethereal side and my past baby girl was reassuring me she would take care of my baby girl.
I'm so sorry for your losses too.
Your grey kitty sounds like she's still with you too. These connections between us/them is intense and never ending.
Thank you for your care and compassion. (((Hugs)))

{{{{{ Hug! }}}}}

(music) Way Over Yonder (Carole King, lyrics) [3:30] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AjiuDHe9uc

My kitty looked a whole lot like the one on the cover of this album...

They truly are our precious Friends. *Heart*

If you just call out my(their) name,
you know, where ever *I* am,
I'll come running to see you again...

Coz You've Got A Friend.

Thank you for the ♡, the song (you've got afriend) beautiful and I always liked it too. I didn't know the other one. You little fur baby was beautiful. I'm sure you both shared cherished memories too.
One things for sure, there's no love like that of a fur babe. Don't get me wrong, I love people too but the fur people are pretty special. My Little Lady had such a big personality, the moment I met her she reached out for me. In her chart her chiron was badly aspected and her pullen report stated it needed help. My Venus was conj her chiron. We were good for each other.
Thank you, Mirage29 for your warmth. <3

Randall and Mirage, thank you for your care.
I'm doing ok. Obviously I'm trying to keep mentally preoccupied (I'm bumping about the threads.) I do find myself in tears often, but not everyday. I miss her so much. I'm talking to her often tho. I feel her presence. Maybe it's my imagination but I have been open to her energy to visit me.

Back in January my husband caught a bad head virus that his work passed about. Noone shook it. They all keep relapsing. Ugh.
I feel a higher power kept me well during the weeks my little one needed my attention. I was exhausted but healthy-ish. (I gave her a lot of energy in the January-March period, she was unwell then. I am greatful she isn't suffering anymore. It couldn't have been cured. Sad truth),
So my husband can't shake the virus completely and he gave it to me finally a few weeks ago. When I first got it my mind went absent, I took out his address book, accidentally, to the recycling bin, throwing it away. He had account data in it. :/ that was bad. Pluto has touched me a lot. The cold, he's fighting it but it won't relent. He isn't one who likes to sleep much. I believe quality sleep helps too.
There are people other than us who have had this since January! Still rather ill too.

Sorry to chat too much at length. (((Hugs))) to you both and be careful not to catch this cold. It's pretty nasty.

Randall, knock on wood, it seems to be getting better. My husband hasn't coughed in a few days. Whew. My symptoms seem clear. It's likely stress suppressed my immunity.
