Some may find it blasphemous but if one can appreciate Twain's sarcasm and whit is is a fun read and something to ponder and refflect on also.
Another good read is:

Thank you.
Common thread?
I suppose the odd settings and dialogs with beings from man's stories, and the social commentary on differing human conditions and interaction with what is deemed to be god, demons, angels and so forth with fascinating and often surreal twists.
Fan of the theatre?
Oh yes, at one time most certainly!
Not so much able to anymore as in my youth.
Many of these plays have also been old radio theatre shows. While video can be fun, there is something about sitting all cozy listening to the old radio theatre shows, or on one's porch at twilight on a summer evening sipping tea or a rootbeer. Or even blowing soap bubbles into the night as one listens to old recordings as the bubbles drift away gently. I have a thing for ambience.
Great for around a campfire too.
Or sitting by a lake.
