Fayte I will respond with NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE

MY QUESTIONS:
~Is there a possibility that Sara may not be Jesus' daughter?
FM.
There was no daughter called Sara.
Magdalene never had a daughter.
She was never Yeshua's wife.
Someone(s) elses were much later. No further comment.
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

Ok, than Sara is just made up?

Mary Magdelene although not her real name, which was Marie, right? was never Jesus' wife? Who did she marry than?
SS.
~If some of you think that the crucifixion never took place than why is there comments that Judas (The apostle) did not betray him? Instead, Jesus and Judas planned what, if, the crucifixion never took place, as some believe... What was the plan? and did Judas( the apostle) commit suicide?
FM.
This bit here is all messed up.
Too many by the name of Judas being confused with each other in the many retellings...and assumptions that it was Yeshua on the cross..
There was no suicide. There was a death but not of Judas of Kerioth/Iscariot. And the so called betrayer was NOT an apostle.
Nor was Judas his common use name.
No further comment.

NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

Ok, I know he never betrayed Jesus... so, you are saying that he never committed suicide? Judas Iscariot was a high-Priest right? I know he loved Jesus... right?

SS.
~What is the real reason why Jesus is called the Morning Star ?
FM.

NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

Can you give me a hint? Was it because it was a pain star (figuratively speaking)

SS.
~Did Mary the mother carried the line of David?
FM..
Maybe, maybe not.
Most were related, so at least indirectly, yes.

NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

Hmmm... I think she did..

SS.
~Did Peter among others planned to kill Mary Magdalene;
FM.
No.

NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

I thought Peter was Jelous...

SS.
did not agree with woman's movement;
FM.
Yes.
SS.
she escaped
FM.
Yes

NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

Than why would she escape... can you give me a hint, from your standpoint?

SS.
to France
FM.
NO.
But yes, she did escape. But not to France...only through France.
No further comment.
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

Ok, that seems to make sense...

SS.
with her daughter...
FM.
There was no daughter to MM.
No further comment.
SS.
NO.Did Jesus later followed her?
FM.
NO.

NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

I thought he also left later... so, he never loved her?

Cheers,

Silverstone, I don't have time right now to fully respond to you but I just wanted to say that I think it's great that you are questioning. Keep questioning because it is through questioning that our faith and understanding grows.

When it comes to spiritual matters and the Great Unknown...God we should never once and for be convinced that we know all there is to know. We should always question what we think we know and always keep asking the questions. Faith and growth depends on it.

Mirandee is not me. I just met her.
She spoke about herself on other threads.
I can see how you might think we are the same person, if that is what you are implyng by:
quote:
"Thanks, Mirandee or Fayte... Why are you using 2 names in the forum?"

But no,
Mirandee is Mirandee, not me. We do seem to see eye to eye on many points, but watch.....we are different people.
Also if I were to choose to use another name, it would be masculine not feminine. I am barely comfortable with being Fayte here.
But Fayte is my name with a letter "T" taken from my grandfather Fate's name....so it gives it a masculine enough ring to make me feel that it better represents my soul than does merely Faye.

Sorry about the misunderstanding, silverstone. What Fayte just said is true, I am me, she is she.

It was probably rude of me to jump in here when you addressed the post strictly to Fayte but I just wanted to let you know that I think it's great that you are questioning. My wording of the post is probably what caused the confusion. I apologize for that.

As Fayte said, we see eye to eye on many things but I don't agree with her on everything when it comes to religion. I'm sure she doesn't agree with me on everything either.

Ok...here goes again!
Now you will have to ask another for a traditional series of answers, I am going to reply from my own theories and or say NFC(=no further comment). I am working on a book. I will not give away too much of what I surmise is closer to the truth.
But nevertheless...I will try to reply withing those self induced restrictions.

SILVERSTONE:

~If some of you think that the crucifixion never took place than why is there comments that Judas (The apostle) did not betray him? Instead, Jesus and Judas planned what, if, the crucifixion never took place, as some believe...
NEW COMMENT Fayte:
A crucifixtion took place. But was not of Yeshua. Yet both that man and Yeshua escaped.
Judas of Keroith=Judas Iscariot. Had nothing personal to do with disciples or any of the followers, or Yeshua. Not the betrayer. Only a business man involved in export/import.NFC.
As to a betrayal...hints to that are in the Bible(s).
QUOTE:
“He was thought to be insane by his own family and neighbors in ‘when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself…And the scribes said, He hath Beelzebub…’ (Mark 3:21-22 –The Greek existemi translated beside himself, actually means insane and witless), The Greek word ho para, translated friends, also means family. On another occasion, the crowd claims “…He hath a devil, and is mad…” (John 10:20). The Greek word mainomai translated mad, also means manic, raving, and insensate” (7)
History has lost the true identity of the one called Judas and his connection to the family of Yosef Ben Yacob, or Yosef Ben Heli. There was a Judas, but that was not his first name. Nor was he ever a disciple or follower. The way Jesus acted horrified his moral/religious sensibilities.NFC.
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:
What was the plan?
NEW COMMENT Fayte:
The plan involved several women of ill repute. The plan involved Pilate. The plan involved Pilate's wife. The plan involved the one misnammed Magdalene. The plan a brother, again whose true identity is lost to history, confused with several others....yet never truly identified in his own distinct right. See this Biblical quote again for clues:
NFC.
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:
and did Judas( the apostle) commit suicide?
NEW COMMENT Fayte:
No. And which Judas? There were several by that name or with varints of that name. Some apstles, some siblings, some business associates.
One did die. But it was an accident that happened while escaping arrest. Nothing more than that.NFC.
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:
quoting FM.:
This bit here is all messed up.
Too many by the name of Judas being confused with each other in the many retellings...and assumptions that it was Yeshua on the cross..
There was no suicide. There was a death but not of Judas of Kerioth/Iscariot. And the so called betrayer was NOT an apostle.
Nor was Judas his common use name.
No further comment.
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:
Ok, I know he never betrayed Jesus...
NEW COMMENT Fayte:
Oh that one most certainly did betray Yeshua, along with that one's aged mother. Both thought they were protecting Yeshua. And themselves from shame, as Yeshua was not a strict enough Jew, he did not follow the law of the Book. None of them expected that the priests would demand a crucifixtion, demand a Roman style execution, they thought Yeshua would simply get locked up as a raving lunatic for awhile, and then they could take him back to Gallilee after the Passover.
See this Biblial quote again for clues:
NFC
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:
so, you are saying that he never committed suicide?
NEW COMMENT Fayte:
"A" man by the name of Judas died. An accident while escaping arrest.
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:
Judas Iscariot was a high-Priest right?
I know he loved Jesus... right?
NEW COMMENT Fayte:
No. The other Judas(not his first name)the one who died..was not a priest but did work in cahoots with them. He was a mama's boy who was almost a priest, as his mother had wanted all her sons to be.
Oh yes! He loved him, but in an obsessive very jealous way. He was also ashamed of him and horrified at how Yeshua did not follow Jewish religious law. It frightened him. Nothing to do with Judas of Kerioth=Judas Iscariot. See the Biblical quote again:
NEW COMMENT SILVERSTONE:

NEW COMMENT Fayte:
He loved her. But as friend. A good friend who during a time of great sadness and guilty feeling angst over another's sacrifice, for him....and she "comforted" him in all the ways she knew to comfort and distract a grieving mann who knew he owed a big debt to another and would never be able to repay him, such a life debt.
Sorry I will not answer any more than that at this time.

A bit more to ponder including the Biblical references again.
I agree with James M. Robinson's comments on it.
And..there were several others in those days....there is I believe a big mix up..confusing many men by the names of Judas..Jude...Judah and so forth.
Even the presumed writer of the Gospel of Thomas was known as Thomas JUDAS Didymus.
Now take that a step farther and read the Biblical accounts again...

>>>>>>So I submit..why would a man ..a wealthy man...sell out to people he was not in agreement with for a paltry 20 pieces of silver?
He would not.
But certain "concerned or worried" friends or family would. Insanity would mark him as an untouchable..not a good Jew. So any family or friends who followed the Jewish "laws" would be impelled to turn him in hoping to have him locked up "for his and their protection" especially during the Passover in Jerusalem which was not his or their home.
Thinking he would not be put to death but instead exiled or restrained as the insane were usually handled. The Romans were not in a habit of executing insane folk.

Too many discrepancies.
Too many 2nd. century and even later writings to know the actual events or the correct naames of those involved.

Thanks Mirandee for clarifying to Silverstone that we are two different people.

And yes...we do most likely have very different outlooks on religion, being first off that I believe you said you are Catholic, and I have stated that am Spiritist(not Spiritualist, nor am I Christian Spiritist either).
But I know I can appreciate a scholarly outlook, which with your studies, I will assume you do have, And a questing/questioning openminded mindset, that does not adhere rigidly to the tenants of "blind unquestioning" faith.
As you said:
Quote:
"When it comes to spiritual matters and the Great Unknown...God we should never once and for be convinced that we know all there is to know. We should always question what we think we know and always keep asking the questions. Faith and growth depends on it."

I agree. That is also why I point out, my ideas and theories are not fact, not without Emperical evidence will I make such a claim. And even with Emperical evidence I would still analyze and question the veracity of that seeming evidence. And yet still deem to call it theoritical.

At first I thought you might be Peajie or Pinkfairy or psyche_eros posting under an assumed name. Or even Lotus, and a few others I have not "seen" here in some time.
It is not often easy to tell who is who on these forums is it? And yes...there are several folks who post under more than one name.
