Hello

I`ve been looking for God for some time now and suppose It would make more sense to just post it here straight away and then I wont be dissapointed

I was on another Astro-Gazer sight and someone told me quite discreetly that I should look here

I`ve read some Linda Goodman and embraced the divine twin, and thought prehaps a Linda Goodman site would be quite rich territory

Has anybody bumped into God around these parts,or at least is the energy here a little purer than the norm

Most websites seem quite dull/bland
I`m known as a Leo man

Alien`s the right one

Welcome Heavens Child!

I didn't find God here because I already had a strong foundation with God. What I did find was a lot of stimulating, kind people, who talk of love and light :-)

I am and hope you find what you are looking for, and much more!

Sights like that should be segregated and sectioned so the unsuspecting Surfer can`t accidentally end up there on his travels

God would do a lot more,I`m sure
I suspect he worries tht if he did come down off his high Horse to help out a little more around here,he would end up as common dross like the rest of us

So like Saturn, instead he remains where he is and awaits the Day when we will return to him

God must be a lonely Job

Here goes:

I think God is like a disco ball, and the earth is a big room, and everyone around the big room (or around the earth) sees their own little section of squares of light from the disco ball, so everyone thinks they practice a different religion because they talk of what light they see, but really the light is all coming from the same disco ball, and everyone's paths are lit from the same source. Everyone interprets it a little different, but God is a source for all that is good.

I`d pretty much agree with that spot on analogy,Fajta
God`s where you find him and we each see him in
different manifestation, but essentially it is all coming from the one source

The most divine things should be in receipt of
chameleon light qualities which can go to whatever level a situation requires in order to go on shining

But in essence and practicality, and in the here and now...
Essentially useless !!

Trippysht,

Thank you for the praise and the applause.

I have been known to tell SOME people to go there, especially when I'd like to tell them to go elsewhere.

Starlover I am not confused, I am and in years to come you will understand my wisdom, haha, I 'm just kidding, I don't think I am confused, but maybe I didn't word it correctly.

I guess try to imagine the earth and all of us earthlings as one big room. And at the center of that room is a large disco ball, moving beautiful squares of light all around the room. Well everyone in each corner of the room sees the light, or their own squares of light from the disco ball a little different, but it is all the same source. Now imagine that God is this disco ball, shedding light and beauty all over the room, and lighting everyone's way. Can you see how someone at one side of the room may see one part of the ball and see a different intensity of light of different squares of light than someone in another part of the room, yet they are all looking at the same disco ball.
I guess it's an out there description- but if you open your mind, you can see it I hope.

I also agree with everyone else, God is within us, which is why it is good to be good to everyone!

Fajita,

Your analogy makes perfect sense!
It takes a creative mind to understand where your coming from.
You are correct in your description of God and the many ways people view or understand the concept of God. You are also correct in saying that with many different religions and so on, the focus is STILL God. What separates the various religions are their interpretations of the same source. I've argued this point for ages. What are we fighting about?
No one is superior to the next, as being the supreme religion. I wish people would get a grip. We are not living in the dark ages. Always the same arguments and for what? Loving the SAME God? Sheesh!
Whether a person worships this way or that way is solely INDIVIDUAL. Who is to argue with that? It is nothing short of an Ego's need to be RIGHT! Where is the LOVE?
My perfect sanctuary of acknowledging and worshipping God is to go out alone to a sacred spot on a mountaintop overlooking the ocean. I look around at the natural wonder's of the earth and give thanks for such beautiful surroundings and I meditate, breathing in the fresh air, feeling at peace and ONE with the Universe. That is MY perfect church.
I prefer peace and solitude as oppose to going to a man-made building to see who showed up in church today and who didn't. There seems to be great judgment in churches. No more loving than outside of it. Also, preacher's, pastor's and priests seem to make everyone dependent on them to save them, then beg for money, while they drive Rolls Royces. We can save ourselves. God listens. Why go through a MAN who is no more than a sinner himself? I much prefer to go straight to the source without guilt or pressure.

Another example of perception of acknowledging the SAME God would be to look at a Beautiful painting. It could be simple or complex. Each and every person who view that very SAME painting will have a different interpretation of it.
Why can't religion be that simple? To understand that there IS no right or wrong.
Too much ego and control for me. In my opinion, religion was created by man to create ORDER out of a chaotic society. People were basically savages. What else could have brought order to the masses of savages but a guilt ridden set of rules that also honored a supreme being that was so powerful, yet unseen? Fear was engaged as a result.
It was engaged to control the uncontrollable. Religion is Fear based, but truly knowing God is about LOVE.

God is within. Inside of you, outside of you and all around you... PEACE!
