Somewhere Over the Rainbow = 19, 1

I like it!

One of the reasons I suggested "Rainbow Bridge" was because of the idea that the rainbow really is a kind of bridge to the "other side" ... heaven, spirit guides, etc. If you remember from Star Signs, Linda addresses the power of prisms and the breaking up of "white" light into a rainbow and also discusses us as 3 dimensional shadows of a 4th dimensional reality. As lotusheartone pointed out, Linda also made references to literature in her works (like Through the Looking Glass). And, big plus imo, the NO without a YES would cancel any negatives in the phrase.

Very nice, silverstone!

I really like Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Now I am a bit confused as to what the nature of the new forum is to be.
I am seeing here more a trend towards forms of spirituality and etheric guides etcetera rather than discourse about religions.
Under more fluffy (but fine) titles, I would not post heavy religious/sacred text/analysis of such topics there as I have at UC.
I would continue to post them at UC and not on a new forum which seems to be slated in view of the suggestions to not be slated towards Religion and heavy discourse concerning it.

So I ask...
Exactly what is the intended nature of the new forum to be?
Religion and Angels do not actually belong in the same group.
Nor do fluffy (but fine) suggested names fit
with the type of religious topics I have posted such as:
CruciFixtion/CruciFiction?
Rethinking the Bible

So again...
What is the exact intended nature and purpose of the new forum to be?

quote:
"Somewhere over the Rainbow"

NICE!
The title is catchy and it goes with the theme of spirituality and angels!

ooooooooooh!

Yes indeed! Great for exactly as you said pixelpixie!
quote:
it goes with the theme of spirituality and angels!
I totally agree!
However it does not fit with heavier religious discourse etcetera.
So again...
Is it to be a new forum on:
SPIRITUALITY & Angels,
or
Religion and angels?
Before an appropriate name/title can be found we must know the exact nature intended for the new forum. It is too vague in my thinking.

I guess it's all in how each individual see's it or perceives such matters.

I think majority should get this one, in all fairness don't you think???

I like " Somewhere Over the Rainbow " too!!!

Here are the ones I can see here.

Path Seekers (this sounds a bit 'girl-guide-y' though) Aside from that, I like it!

Divine Diversity

Divine Universe-ity

Rainbow Bridge

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Beyond Our Veils

Gurus, Ghosts and Avatars

Divine Power and Heavenly Messengers

Blessings and Miracles

The Keys to the Kingdom

G U R U Quest For Truth

Our promise for tomorrow

Angels Unawares

AfterWord

The Crown of the Magi
(I looked it up, it's number 21, which is the number of forums this would make.. and it represents treasure/crown suggests above/reward and Magi is a magical being/the three wise men bearing gifts- Religious/spiritual connotations)

Linda writes;(pg.
258 in Star Signs soft cover)

21 - The Crown of the Magi
21 is pictured as "The Universe" and is also called "The Crown of the Magi". It promises general success, and guarantees advancement, honors, awards, and general elevation in the life and career. It indicates victory after a long struggle, for the "Crown of the Magi" is gained only after a long initiation, much soul testing and various other tests of determination.(sounds like ascension to Heaven to me)However, the person or entity blessed with the number 21 may be certain of final victory over all odds and all opposition. It's a most fortunate vibration-a number of karmic reward.

Why don't we take the reason behind the 21 forums, and call it that?
It works esoterically and creatively!

Solane, I know you didn't just suggest majority (mob) rule. Did you? While I do very much appreciate input (which is why I asked for it and place high value on it), this isn't a democracy.

Great ideas, by the way, from everyone. So many choices! I do feel like it should be a religion Forum. Uni-versal Codes can continue to house the more esoteric and Spiritual.

There are a few here that sound lovely, but because of the Linda connection, I vote for Keys to the Kingdom.

Randall, good point, I think it should focus on simply Theosophy and Religion as Universal Codes can cover Angels, etc

I like the Keys to the Kingdom, too or Somewhere over the Rainbow

Many nice ideas but most simply do not fit Religion.
They do ok with angels etcetera.
OK....
Maybe we needs two or three more forums, not just one.

For fairy, elves, angels, guides, divas, gnomes, etcetera.

OTHER REALMS
ETHEREAL REALMS
AROUND THE BEND
ETHEREAL CONTACT
OVER THE RAINBOW
NEVERLANDS
ETHEREAL VISITORS
RAINBOW BRIDGE

_______________________________________
And just plain old

THEOLOGY

strictly for Religion topics.
_______________________________________
And maybe a third new forum for:
aliens, ghosts and such.

THEY WALK AMONGST US
STRANGE VISITORS
THE VISITORS
THE OTHERS
WE ARE NOT ALONE
THEY'RE HERE

I don't feel the title needs to say "religion" or insinuate religion as the description below the title will explain what will be covered within that section. To elaborate on what i mean look at these ...

For Yellow Wax And The Ants
Through the Looking Glass
Heathcliff's Corner
even
Oober Galaxy

Do those titles explain what's to be posted in there? ... not exactly. Not at first glance. To the non-Linda follower No ... to people who know Linda's words, Yes. We all had to read the description below to k-NOW what we can and can't post with in that section. We got use to it .. k-NOWing where to post what. Just as we'll get use to knowing what to post in the new section.

If this new forum is just for Religion and we leave Angels at UC then I also like Keys to the Kindgom. Divine Diversity would also fit well. Or even Pixie's play on University ... Divine Universe-ity! Can I vote for all three!!
