I am just curious WHY people are so fast to believe their respective religions as taught to them, without questioning them? How can people believe "rules" written by men in a book referred to as a bible? These "rules" and "belief systems" are so limiting, and are not subject to questioning. How can a mind, which is made for creativity, believe strict "this or that way is the only way"? Do most religions believe that life only exists on earth?

It's hard for me to believe that planet Earth is the only planet with life, when the Universe is infinite, there is so much evidence for life both here (numerous forms of species and different life forms from amoeba to bugs to sponges to trees) and out there (numerous stars, galaxies, etc.) Each star is a sun just like our sun, and most likely has planets rotating around it too.

SO my question is, if you believe that extra terrestrial life exists (i.e. aliens) then do you think that aliens have a religious belief system and a spiritual belief system? Do you think they are higher evolved than us and perhaps they too, believe that we are all connected?

Is there an astrology system for each solar system out there?????? (for example our planets here, represent certain psychological energies which may or may not manifest on the material earth plane)

Did you read The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ? That's on Linda's recommended reading list. It's good.

Regarding the archetypes, if a story is not told to continue their story, then in a way, they don't really exist anymore, correct? (if man was not there anymore) So how would the archetype span millenia if a man is not there to continue the story of it?

Regarding your paragraph about spirituality: well, I call myself spiritual and not religious..........I cannot fully put all of my beliefs into words........too much to say........but it is based on the ideas of the evolution of the soul..........I don't follow any "practices".......and I don't follow any written rules.........but I wouldn't call it a belief in "nothing"........it is definitely "something", a very strong something.....a very strong "knowing"........ for example, I could tell you many different things that I believe, and that I feel, and you might find a relative reference in a certain religion or even a certain modern saying "May the Force be with you". (the energy field that penetrates everything) But it is definitely something.

An author that I used to attend her lectures for 4 years, said that we should never be afraid of aliens, because they are actually "us"......all life comes from the same original source.......they are just on a different evolutionary level than us........it makes sense to me.

I think it is so sad we are destroying our own world.......with closed minds....and eyes that cannot "see".

I don't follow you. People have been interacting with the Jesus archetype for two-thousand years. There are all sorts of stories, personal, allegorical, etc. Are you familiar with the history of Christian literature, revelation and testimony? This archetype is actively dialoguing with people at every minute, all over the world. People turn to it, looking for comfort and insight, and it responds. The relationships of this archetype to the Virgin Mother archetype and to the Father are also continually evolving. It has not completed it's work here. Most people have yet to even understand it.

I hear what you are saying, and you may call yourself spiritual, but I will interpret you as religious. If you have a belief, that is a doctrine. If you act on it, that is a practice. If there is an image you turn to, that is an archetype. The Force, is an archetype.

I agree, we should not be afraid of aliens. We should not fear anything, but neither should we be foolishly trusting. They may be "us", but so was Hitler. I don't follow the author's point.

The author's point was from a soul-perspective, all souls come from the same source. "We are all One".

Evidence of ETs and their interference is "Reverese Transcriptase" molecule, found in HIV. That molecule could not have evolved on Earth.

Thanks, I just graduated last December with a Biology degree and I learned about Reverse Transcriptase funny you mention it........
