Hard to ascertain.
So many of those prophets were drunk on wine,
and or delusional superstitious over zealous religious nut cases.
Also how does one determine what a person was really seeing when they came from a practically not much higher than stone age technology?
Visions of machinery, flying craft, electric lights, and so forth would confound them.

The moon mission used that wheel within a wheel. It solved a very difficult problem for NASA.
