When you think of God/whichever form of the divine you believe in, do you think of them formally, or familiarly? If your languages) has/have different forms of address, do you use the formal form or familiar? So, what do others think about this? IP: Logged |

It is said God is as near as our juglar vein.God is both Tanzih - the unknowable, transcendent God/Being and Tashbih - the manifested, imminate, personal God/Being In the Perfect Human (Jesus the Christ), there is a perfect experience of BOTH realities at the same time. One is not give a preference over the other. They are balanced and integrated.
Tanzih in Tashbih and Tashbih in Tanzih.

^ Great answer! That's how I feel, too. There is the sublime God that I almost dare not approach except with my head bowed and with absolute reverence. There is the benevolent God that deals with me as gently as possible. The devastating earthquake AND the butterfly landing on my skin. IP: Logged |
