Topic: The Ease of Manipulating the mass

I approach this without glee, rather with a stern and sad look. How easy it appears to be to manipulate via inspiring to a illusionary "greater cause".For example, "global warming" what an excellent con, "give your cash and life now, or something really bad will happen..200 years from now" But of course, the other manipulation is what I'd call "stove pipe thinking". Nothing allowed in, only one thought, do not bother with that thinking, questioning, or even basal knowledge. Who needs that anyway?
I post this here simply as divine cautionary tale, no matter ones faith, or lack thereof, never allow oneself to be manipulated as whomever is doing so has their interests in their hearts, not your interests.

It is with a heavy heart I agree.
It kills the human spirit and it becomes all mind or intellect. One numb mind blindly following another in seeking an easy fix to the human condition.

Thank you. To my thinking, how can anyone worry about serving a cause, which means that cause excludes even knowing their neighbor's names? This I do not understand.
