I'm sure there was, but I looked carefully and couldn't find it. Did something happen to it? Or am I just not able to see it?

I wanted to share a joke there, and I don't see how it could possibly offend or upset anyone at all.

I bumped what I thought it was, but I don't think that's the one you were talking about. I don't remember the one you were talking about.

Maybe it's still in another forum.

It was here, I'm sure of it.

I think I know what happened, but I won't say as it could stir trouble (and I'd feel bad for saying if the thread is just lost in the haystack).

Ok, I just used the LL search for a joke I know I posted and that thread didn't show up at all (in this or any other forum). It no longer exists.

All I'll say on what I think happened: if someone deleted it out of a sense of guilt (and hoping it would be forgotten whereas simply locking it might require an explanation later on) then it's ironic, as deleting the thread that no one else was bothered by is the real wrong done (that is, what REALLY deserves a sense of guilt), not having started a thread that gave many of us laughs.

I think it was RegardesPlatero's thread and she deleted it along with many posts here and there at different forums.
Not sure what was the issue was.

^^

Exactly what I was thinking, but I think I know what the problem was. One joke got me to wondering if they really taught it to little kids in Sunday School (I forget what exactly, something to do with concubines, I think) and she started apologizing saying she wish she hadn't started the thread as she thought it would make people uncomfortable. (We continued a long time sharing jokes saying we didn't care, but I guess she didn't believe us.)

It's really ironic, she posts such good stuff but then feels ashamed or self-conscious and deletes it...and it's the constant deleting that she should feel that way about, not what she posts.
