I was thinking of Judas as well as people who seem to pull people down for their own egos. I believe everyone has a choice. However, God knows that choice before we make it, as God knows the beginning from the end. I wonder if God lets people come into your life to hurt you BUT it would be so you could reach out to Him. The end would be a very good thing. I am kind of thinking this. What do you all think? I am sure you have had people in your life who seemed to curse/put down/ destroy/ take from/ subtract from anyone they touched, pretty much. What has been your experience with this? Have these people really made you better because you had to fight so hard to overcome them? ------------------

Well, if folks recall, Judas, appeared to repent of what he had done. The larger question of, are people born to be cursed into eternal seperation from God? This is what the millennium is for, how many have passed on without hearing the Gospel? How many have sadly fallen under the influence of false teachers? IP: Logged |

Lets look at this Padre. This was the OT times as Jesus had not died. The NT time of Grace came after the cross. If Judas had repented as King David did, he could have been reconciled to God.Judas felt badly and killed himself but he never called out to God. ------------------

It seems unconceivably abusive of god to put cruel people in your way to make himself seem more attractive...i can't go along with a god who would behave like that! Sounds like an extremely sadistic way of saving someone....IP: Logged |

No, if you get saved, ANYTHING is worth it. The Bible says that even being in the Holocaust is nothing compared to finding God and being in heaven for eternity. This is hard for us to see. I complain all the time about my mother like I had it the worst of everyone. I am really not being right in this but it is my human pain talking and my human failings.

That made me sad to read.  If of course you meant that all variations of teachings other than the Gospels are flawed and their teachers automatically false.....? How awful to feel/think that way. IP: Logged |

If we obey the Christ and love our neighbor as ourself, we would never ever see another as a curse. On Judas as the betrayer, , I have plenty to say later when the house is quiet.
