Sure AA, I would, my one caveat is the NT is far larger than Romans and many of the historical facts contained therein rarely are discussed.IP: Logged |

yes, I know what you mean there, Padre! I learned that sometimes Paul was 'reading' letters that were sent to him from outside churches (outloud), then he'd answer them!... Could be an answer to 'why' there are so many discrepancies.... They forgot to use [QUOTE] .....  wha'??? then shall we sin???? IP: Logged |

Actually, Paul is thought to have had poor eyesight, so more than likely one of the people he mentioned helping him was probably reading the letters aloud to him, then penning the response. Classically though, Romans is used to try to put forward predestination and a continued covenant with Israel. IP: Logged |

The Holy Spirit of God interprets and brings up the Words when you have hidden them in your heart..... Then they're a part of you, because the Word is Living, and rooted and grounded. No notes, no commentary, only 'being Present' in the holy 'now' with the holy face of your neighbor ... (humor is ON today: holy crap!!!! )None so blind as those who "will" to not see? I would LOVE to see the astrological chart and Ephemeris for the Day of Pentecost.... the very FIRST one!!40 days after the Resurrection! Wouldn't that look soooo cool?? Planet Mercury!! and Gemini prominent? (I saw that St Paul was a Gemini??) IP: Logged |

I think for those who may not know, a thread about the origins of the Bible would be very useful.Another thing, lost to history imo, is the two Babylonian incursions into Israel, the first one cemented a Israeli culture in Babylon, the second more or less populated it. Or more esoterically, an Angel/Nephilim/Genesis thread would be awesome! IP: Logged |
