When do you celebrate it? At the Scorpio New Moon? Tonight? Tomorrow? Thoughts on this?Oh course, it is the Evening Tide in the Seasonal Year, Late Waning Moon, like right now? Questions... IP: Logged |

Back when I celebrated pagan holidays I went by the lunar rather than solar calendar. IP: Logged |

@ I'm so cappy I'm really as eclectic as they come (I steal anything that works, Ha!)Being of Celtic Descent, I study Gaelic and the "Matter of Britain." That is to say, the Arthurian Legends. I am just as apt to study the Stars, the Resonance and Frequency of Sound and Colour, the Tarot, Herbal Healing, Stones and Gems, or even my Hebrew/Greek/English Bible; in a Quest to bring all these things together in a Ritual of Life that is my own. I hate labels. IP: Logged |

@PixieJane Would you prefer the Full or New Moon for a Samhain Celebration? The Heart of the Water Season. Divination. The Mysteries of Rebirth... Scorpio, Hecate; the Threefold Path of the Divine Union?

That's what I thought as well.I went through all kinds of questions, starting with the Evening before, through all sorts of different thoughts for all different reasons, but I finally decided on that. Of course, if I had the Feel to do it at a different time, I would. In the process of studying, I came to the conclusion that the Hebrew custom of starting the Sabbath on the Evening before was correct; but I forget exactly what the logic was behind this. It had something to do with the New Moon sequence? It was an Astrological Lunar Cycle Equation, anyway. IP: Logged |
