I came down with flu... ugh body aches, cough, big headache, drippy nose. Chills.

Been having dreams all night that I'm posting here at LL, or doing astrology! lol

Be back when I can... finishing my tea, then bed again.

Thanks for your greetings above--

You always give off a happy, friendly vibe, even when you're down, way down.

I really admire that, mirage.

'Hope you get better soon~

A strong cup of Ginger Tea is best for cold and Chicken soup meals to fight the symptoms of flu.
Get well soon.

Thankyou so much for your kind words Faith, and Rajji. {{ }} You both provided chicken soup for my soul...

My last post was April 24, Thursday. Exactly 10 hours later (1105-1110pm) I fainted in the hallway in the apartment, and hit (the crown of) my head, bled ..... [edited/cropped]

Today now the flu symptoms are better. Knot on head is sore, .... (~tielenol only) [edit]

Glad you're feeling better.

But if you can afford it you should get that concussion checked. They've been known to have "delayed effects." Such delayed effects are rare but it's best to have it checked (assuming you have competent doctors).

Hope you're feeling better still tomorrow.

Oh no, that's horrible!

I'm sad that you're in pain....'don't know what to say, I just hope you have enough painkillers on hand to make it bearable until you get to the doctor. And things that help with wound healing: comfrey, calendula, or whatever's on hand.

Best wishes, will be thinking of you.

Only doing tielenol-- it's pain that is going away, more and more quickly. Just achey-pain, and avoid touching spot on my head now. (I'll be fine, really!)

The faint was weird... I've only fainted maybe 2 or 3 times in my WHOLE life. It's just how sudden and hard the flu overcame me.

I don't feel that concerned about the mild concussion-- the ringing in ears stopped. Spot on head is very sore, but the only time I notice it is if I touch it.

Didn't mean to alarm. sorry.... I feel like this is more hard-hitting sudden flu. I had gone to the kitchen to get water then vision went black. On race back to bed I never made it (oh no).

Hit the door frame front, then passed out backwards and cut the top back of head.

Thanks for more of the story, mirage. I'm glad it doesn't hurt too much...And again, I don't know how you sound upbeat in your situation. Even while you talk about hard things, there's a lightness and steadiness there. I admire that!

It's sad that your roommate is like that, sad for him and sad for you.

'Had a dream about you last night. I'm having trouble remembering the details, but I know it was you. I'm pretty sure that nothing extraordinary happened, no big and crazy dream events, we just talked "in person." And it was great

Wishing you better days as soon as possible...wishing you busy angels. Keep us posted!

Went to see the doctor today. Wants to send me for catscan and bloodwork (next week).

At the height of flu "that certain 'next wall' neighbor" was in process of moving out of his apartment, and had used several powerful foggers on all his stuff crammed in there-- did the strong fumigants in series, over several days time. BUT, my sense of 'smell' had been blocked by stuffy nose from bad flu. The hour my sense of smell came back, I "recognized" what chemical he was using.... The odor was so strong seeping into our apartment.

When I told the doctor I recognized the odor of bedbug fumigants, he IMMEDIATELY said that this poison could have played a role in my passing-out like that.

FAITH Wow, thanks for mentioning about 'the dream-visit.' Yes, I bet we could talk for hours!

I want to post but need to go rest. I am getting stronger every day.

Will come back tomorrow to post news. Sorry this answer took so long...

No need to apologize for anything, mirage, I'm grateful that you keep in touch.

Shuddering about the fumigation. Surely there's a natural way to get rid of bed bugs? Why is science so slow to realize that we can't really solve anything on a macro level through poison? I guess because it's profitable.

Ugh...hope you can get that stuff out of your system somehow. Lots of water, for one thing.

Yes, the dream meeting was..like a dream!

Please keep recovering and get back to us when you are feeling comfortable.

All the best to you

Hi again, mirage!

How are you feeling today?

I didn't know you wrapped everything in plastic wrap! I vaguely remember something along those lines, but assumed it was temporary. To live with everything in that condition...impresses me! Seems like an art exhibit. A very Virgo art exhibit! hehehe

And how on earth did I forget that you have a Taurus Venus? It's so obvious...I can be so "out of it," I lose sight of energies that are right there pinging me!

Anyway, your plastic wrap reminded me of my maternal grandfather (Libra), who insisted on having the sofas covered in plastic/ vinyl. Maybe he had a Virgo Venus. Legend has it, the first thing my grandmother (Gemini) did after he died was remove and dispose of them. Triumphantly and with hallelujahs. Which brings me back on topic finally...because, those two were so ridiculously incompatible, I have suspect that the only thing that kept them together was religion and taking their wedding vows seriously. Putting up with sticky slipcovers for the glory of God. That's righteous!

My dear friend has been suffering from repeated BB attacks...her son's friend lives in a BB infested home in a very rough neighborhood, and she hasn't had the heart to tell this friend that he isn't welcome at their home anymore. She feels like he's already suffering enough and needs a sanctuary. So she just cleans, cleans, cleans, sprays, gripes, cries. All we ever talk about is BB these days.

What a plague

True, I may not have seen some of your updates, even if they were intended for me. I was gone for about five or six weeks. I delete many of my posts, too, and if there was a button I could push to eradicate my entire history, I would push it. I just like the conversation, and don't want a permanent, public record of it.

Wishing you extraordinary luck, serendipity, blessings. Three varieties of the same thing!
